Day 55 of 12/12 update. Coming along pretty good. The younger blue widows in back are probably 25 days in. Not ready for a prime spot in the pics yet. Lol. But they will end up with the prettiest buds.

Last run i mostly used fox farms trio liquid nutes in a 50/50 mix of Promix and ocean forest. This time 50/50 Promix and Epsoma potting soil. Half of the plants have Epsoma biotone mixed into soil quarter strength and top dressed maybe every 3 weeks half strength. Other plants get fox farms all purpose mixed in soil same rate and top dressed same. Last top dress is Epsoma bulb tone. I sparingly use fox farms liquid nutes on a couple of them and Epsoma liquid nutes on the majority. Could consider moving to fabric pots

Try letting the leaves all die off before harvesting.
I think this is how jungle boys do it and alot of grow tubers.
Im beginner and have experemced similar problems exept high thc but hardly any fllavour, smells good too.
May down to drying and curing as its very difficult to excute. Sticky buds that snap off nice

When i switched to fabric pots, i would a lot more tops.

mixing the Epsoma especially into mix before every transplant and a top dress here and there seems to keep them happy. I use way less liquid fertilizer and never any cal mag

yea..I usually let them yellow out pretty good. Last run they yellowed out completely to tops of plant by harvest. I think I was just expecting more punch than the plants were gonna give. After a good cure, the potency did come around some. They’re dry but sticky. Smell and taste is strong enough. I’m a heavy smoker and had been smoking top notch buds before the last harvest. I could have grown them better for sure though. I have been wanting to try fabric pots and my next run to see the difference. I only train plants for two main tops. I top them and don’t tie them down. If I had more space, I’d work for more tops. I planed to have them all jammed under the hps originally. This next run I have a bunch sprouted and I’m really gonna be crowded. Probably just do one cola plants. When I get Clones of the plant I’m looking for, I’ll make sure to train for more colas and less lower buds. I will say that my lower buds aren’t going to be Larf bud though. A couple of the plants will pull over three ounces a piece and began flowering at maybe 10-11 inches tall

Day 59. Cheese.

Dinachem day 59. After a long cure, this strain has turned out to be my favorite of the bunch. Nice sativa edge on the high. Could be stronger though. Plants seem to be a bit faster this round. Thinking this second grown of these plants will help me determine whether it was more me or the strain that is at fault for my lack of satisfaction

JAck 47 and cheese. Shitty closeup of Jack 47. Probably won’t even start looking at trichs for another month. Gonna have to get them under some blue light for next pic and closeup. Blue widows in back should start picking it up. The one pheno is just tiny buds and smells like bad Parmesan cheese and swamp socks. Really disgusting opening the jar but taste is ok. The other pheno is all blueberry mostly

Day 63. The cheese has basically stopped producing more calyxes and arent gaining in size anymore. No clear trichs that I can see. I’d say I’m at the countdown for them..next ten days to two weeks hopefully.

Dinachem..took it 85-86 days last time and actually think I let it go too long. The pistils stay pretty long on this plant. None of those will recede a whole lot.

I don't believe that for a second! That plant has a solid 14ish more days and will definitely receed more and ripen better. The bracts don't look swollen at all and it is pushing out fresh new growth. You didn't let them go to long last time, you cut them all too early, we talked about this over and over. DON"T GET a patients deficiency at the key point when these plants are trying to swell and ripen.

You are still trying to count days from 12/12 as well, and that just shows a lack of interest in plant biology which won't help you grow better plants. Most growers that I talk into being patient and waiting on a properly rippened harvest come back and thank me as soon as they smoke it the first time. The best smoke comes from healthy fully rippened plants.

Been battling these spider mites in here. Beating the leaves up a bit with the dawn but it helps. Took a bunch of the more damaged leaves mostly on the cheese. I let it go a few weeks and wasn’t liking the build up of the fuckers. Going to have to go scorched earth on the room as soon as I pull them down. My Bodhi seedlings and Seedsman Jack are doing ok..been in a room thats very dry and gets hot and cold..hot and cold so they’re lagging a bit with a few funky leaves. Going to have to transfer the fluro flowering plants into the room under the hps and jam them in so I can clean my t5 up and get it over the seedlings in their room. It’s a bitch just having to go through the process I go through just to enter and leave the bathroom they are in. Lol. I put on new clothes, wash my hands/arms before I enter. I kick off my shoes at the door and leave them outside. Immediately scrub my feet at the sink and water seedling or whatever. Dawn water on outside of cups and I bleach my way back out of the room. I’ve had to do this before with success but it’s a real pain.
