$40,000 budget first time grow

Hello fellow stoners!

I am moving to California in August to open a delivery service as well as a grow opperation. I am in the process of narrowing down everything I need. currently deciding between hydro or a soil mix so I will list my ideas for both. Any and all help would be great.


As of now my set up includes

Genetics

-Gage green group


Soil/coco perlite mix

-4 10x10 heavy duty guerrilla grow tents
-16 30 gallon fabric containers in each tent
-4 1000w mh bulbs in a air cooled hood system per tent for veg
-4 1000w hps for flowering per tent
-Carbon scrubber

Hydro

-the system I am looking at


Current Culture Under Current Double Barrel 16 XL

My questions

-Best way to keep tents cool
-methods for keeping odor under control
-nutrients needed for hydro
-Nutrients needed for soil
-recommendations on veg time/flower time
-guesstimate of total yield
-anything else that I need to make this grow operation as successful as possible

And with 40K you wont use tents... But to answer your questions Also what the hell is Gage Green... This is land of OG and Gorilla...

1) an Air Conditioner
2) A Carbon Filter is the only tried and true method
3) Nutrients is a matter of taste and budget and strain
4) Veg time if you just invested 40K you will SOG with 14 day cuts then immediate flip to flower. You will need a lot of space...
5) Yeild, 1.5 lbs to 2lbs a light, once again you will need 1000w lights to achieve this or a whole lot of skill with LST.
6) Once again you will need a lawyer. Because its not legal to grow this amount in California while posting what appears to be a profile pic of you on a Website

What would you use in place of tents

A room. If your going comerical you need a room that can be sealed so you can run co2. 1000W de hps or 630 de cmh is the only way to go. Co2 burner, split duct ac, dehumidifier, inline fans filters. Wall fans. If your going hydro water chiller, light controler, co2 moniter, sulfer burner, if you have any thing left. There ase some out west getting 3 to 4 lbs per light. They also use a biowave emiter. Honestly not sure if its cost is worth the extra yeld. More testing on that tek needs to be done. Also need cloner and a seperate area for veg and cloning. Suggest 315 cmh for veg.

Lol i dont know who that is. Gary gigax cousin? I run a hydro store and get grow room questions all the time. For a hobiest it is different but if your going comerical you need comerical grade equiptment.

Or not i guess. I know if i had an extra 40k no wife or kids i would take the gamble with the chance to do what i love. Maby not cali legal there for 20 years but mass, d.c. main would be a fantastic place. As a medical caretaker i read recently you can make 60k+ a year.

Don't move to MA. Maine maybe. The mass state legislature seems hell-bent on gutting the recreational and home growing referendum that was passed.

You came here and pretty much asked how do i grow weed ? ..... thoes questions should have been researched before you came to the forum, for someone who can have a 40k setup your not very serious

To many variables not enough info. Cant suggest equiptment withought knowing what the space is. How many rooms exact dimensions of the rooms whare the rooms are in location to each other. I would first put off that project and see if you even can grow the plant. It isnt hard but still not everyone can do it. Just like driving a car. Some have nateral tallent some cant drive to save there life even after 40 years practice. Try to simulate a comerical grow enviroment and raise a small crop before you drop your life savings. No tents they are treated much different than a comercial room. This will be much more expensive than a tent but plants grow much different in a climate controled area with co2 and comerical grade lights. Nute uptake is different resperation is different so temp and humidity are different. Tent set up with high powered lights nuts soil filteration ect 600 to 1000 bucks. Turn a single bedroom into comerical grade area 3 to 5k. Smarter to do this though than just droping 40k on hopes and a prayer lol
