I spray with the lights on and off,
I dont find that I have ever burned my plant by spraying it down with the lights on..
Not saying it wont happen, but I have personally never experienced this.
I also always have excellent air circulation, maby thats why !!

Well the nodes have grown incredibly since last nights post.
I am just amazed at how fast this plant is growing.

Is it true the bigger the plant the bigger the buds ??
how tall should I let each bud-site grow, 6- 7 inches maby more ??

Here are some close-up shots of how close the nodes are to each other.

Take Note: Each branch is about 10 inches long and the nodes are about the width of my thumb apart !!
There is going to be alot of high quality Purple kush buds on this girl !!

Here are the seeds That I have germinating in the Jiffy Pucks inside the plactic cups.

I used a dorm sized fridge to start plants and for first few weeks of vegging..

EVERYTHING IS LOOKING GREAT !! TIME TO FEED HER !!

NODES ARE GROWING TO BE BRANCHES ALREADY, MAN THIS THING IS GROWING LIKE A BEAST !!
THE LEAVES ARE GETTING REALLY BIG ON THE BUD-SITES, AND THEY ARE ONE INCH TO 3 INCHES TALL IN SOME PLACES.
I THINK SHE MIGHT NEED A TRIM SOON !!

Shineon2008, The last crop was amazing to smoke.
This crop is not yet in flower !! one more week of veg !! stay tuned for more !!

CK Wicked, Everything is going good Bud.
I fed her yesterday., I dont think she liked the res change because today she's droopy in some spots.
I checked the PH, it is perfect.
I think that I might have given her too much nutrients.
There is no leaf burn or anything, just a little bit of droop on some of the leaves.
I don't think that it is anything to be totally worried about.
I will know in the next day or so what the issue is..

QUESTION FOR ALL:
when I opened up my dwc res to do a change I noticed some little fruit fly looking bastards in my res.
Are these fungus gnats ??

I gently rinsed the roots and the resevoir out with warm water very thoroughly in hopes of eliminating these little bastards.
I should have taken some pictures for you guys, but.... oops, I forgot !!

I've had those before (if they're the same) and they are irritating when your in your room. They always fly in your face and in latter flower, they tend to get stuck to your buds. They didnt seem to do any damage, they were just real annoying.

if they are lil black gnats chilling in wet spots then yes you have fungus gnats.
Beware the adults do no damage but the larve they lay in soil(anything moist really)will eat your roots
it doesnt cause major damage but can slow down your plants and make them sick.

Would water curing the plant not take alot of trichomes off of the plant making it less potent, also would it not dry brown ??

nice fridge. Been thinking of doing one myself. do u think u could do about 9 smallish ones in a fridge like yours?

Water curing works because thc is oil based and oil and water dont mix.
leave a bud in a jar of water for a day change the water and repeat for a week then dry the bud out overnight and its supposed to take away alot of useless stuff

Skuff, That method sounds interesting enough.
I wouldn't want to risk mold, so not thanks.
I'll stick to my dark room, and Mason Jar method. that has never failed me.
I think that you could easily do 9 small plants in this set-up, although I think it is best for 1-4.
I also think you would yield more off of 4 medium size plants than 9 small plants, but it depends on your experience and strain.
