Well...if you have a high number of sites like in a NFT system you can have many times the amounts stated here. The light and space dont determine the number of plants...its the size of the plant and grow set up.

I have a 4.5' x 4.5' box and i grow three strains and i grow any where between 6 to 10 plants under a 400w bulb. the less plants i have the larger i let them get the more plants i have in the box the smaller they are when i turn the lights back

I limit myself to how many I can veg under a 2" T5...usually about 8 or 9....get'em up and a few inches of growth and healthy.....then I'm lucky enough to have 2 different 400w flower rooms which lets me spread'em out....about to inprove veg area to accomodate more and provide more veggie lights to improve yeilds in later stage....

i got 2 under my 400w in 80x80x160 tent so i can grow the babies nice and big , don't want them fighting for light , having said that i easily have enough space for 2 more

Don't think that the more you do will give you more in the end,it all realy depends on the size of the room that you are growing in.In a room of around 4ft/4ft square with a little bit of height say 6/7ft go for around 4 plant's.If i was you then i would go for a soil wilma sytem set up or hand watered this will allow you to move the tubs around for max light on the plant's.Use advanced veg and bloom and you should pull at least 5/7 oz per plant if flowered at 1 1/2ft tall use the bloom with bud blood for 1st 2 week of flowering then at start of week 3 big bud and bloom then at week 6 bloom with overdrive and sit back and smoke a fatty. It is ph perfect also all the ppms are sorted depending on the ammount of feed you add so this will make things so easy for the novice or a long term grower who has not used it before good luck any questions inbox me.tyke..
