Got my new airpots... they rule... 4 1/2 gallons are taller and skinner than the 3.4 gallons and the 1.2 gallons are shorter and fatter than the .8s. I put med man #2, white russian, and g-13xhashplant in the 4+ gallon pots. I'm going to veg them a minimum of one week longer not sure how long after that. The apollos are putting out pistils and really fluffing the flowers up now... getting exciting! I retrained them a bit to fit in the cab better.. the canopy is getting really even with budsites but the cab is pretty narrow for these beats :) Who needs a scrog screen? It is easy to train them with these airpots. I decided I am going to leave the two OG Kushes in their current pots. I checked the roots on them and they look ok. I am going to flower the OGs under the veg LED and remove them when I move plants in and out of main flower cab. For now I am going to put one of my flower blackstars in the veg chamber so I have two and will flower the OGs there since they are upright not bushy and i'm basically out of room in flower cab. Will go with 4 blackstars in cab at first to make sure I don't overkill it... if I feel like they need it I can always move the extra blackstar in later. The baby plants got their first minor veg nutes and got a minor growth spurt... they are all lookin good. Pics will be posted in the morning too tired now

Lots of pics - decided I'm gonna put one of those new blackstars in veg chamber and 4 in the cab to start might add one to the cab later we'll see how 4 goes first. it looks like with 3 plants in the cab i have no room for the OGKs (barely have room for the big plants) so I'm going to flower them under the veg LEDs (part of the reason there'll be one flower one there). That cab is pretty damn cramped hopefully not much more stretching

It's actually getting too crowded in there. I had to take the small fan out to fit the 3rd plant. Leaving cab doors open to make sure they don't have heat buildup issues even though light vent fan is going.

Apollos - They have 12-16 good solid bud shoots going each plant at the canopy level - at the size of these plants/# of chutes I estimate 1.5-3oz per plant

Veg chamber - a lot under one light now but will be adding a flower light on friday

Apollo clones in dirt... I put small humidity domes over them after this as they rapidly started curling the leaves up

Rommies - getting stronger, even the sickly one.

Airpot roots - this is the apollo 13 male that I killed (technically he's dieing of thirst and still alive.. trying to think of best way to dispose of him.

Sorry nope I got 4,5 & 7. Gonna be sweet next week when I have both 12 hour flower sessions full of plants in big pots under LEDs. So lucky that those two I only got one of were both female. The generation 2 babies are all looking awesome no problems lovely squat little plants... the indica pheno geniusxdeep chunks are some real freaks... one self topped and the other is missing a branch so it's not symmetrical (?!?)

You've got rigid ducting? At least that's what I think I see. How do you find that for fan noise? I would imagine its pretty quiet provided there are no loose portions

Void got his med man clones from me and I got my romulans from him. It isn't looking good for his to root though and none of mine have either. I am probably going to take some more from the two I have today or tomorrow as well as my other plants getting ready to go into flower. I think I know what I did wrong last time and how to fix it so I should get a lot higher success rate.

Yes it's rigid ducting. It did not increase noise at all but it didn't decrease it either the fan is just noisy with no controller. The LED fans aren't noiseless but they're way quieter than any of the other fans I have running and should be either silent or almost silent from outside the cab with everything shut. That ducting just takes up too much space though and is keeping me from raising the light higher which is one of the reasons I went ahead and jumped on the LED purchase. The light is about one foot from the canopy at the moment and I can't raise it or lower the canopy :) It should be fine though since the LEDs get here day after tomorrow!!! I gotta go figure out how exactly I'm going to hang those LEDs -- the hangers they come with are not adjustable.

Pretty excited the buds are now at the point where you can see them getting bigger every day!!

Damn sorry to hear about the MM, think your the only one growing it with leds........still a great grow and ill watch it out:weed:

Oh btw you will be surprised by the fan noise on those(blackstar) led panels.....it's not for the stealthy..

i already have one of those blackstar led panels and i'm fine with the level of noise it's way less than the other fans i run. we'll see how 4 of them at once are ;) no matter what it will be stealthier than what i am running now, and i am going to be generating white noise in the room to cover the fan noise anyway it should cover up the blackstars. Mine is pretty quiet -- not silent. I'm pretty sure it's going to be less heat and less noise than the 400w and fan I got now by a long shot.

Good point re: LED's.. something to consider for the future.. I'm anxious to hear what you think of them as you've grown quite a bit with HID's it sounds....

I just installed some Roxul Safe n Sound insulation in my basement ceiling... its quiet as a mouse upstairs now!

Okay so you Wont be surprised by the noise level of the blackstar fans :P

I'm still trying to find an HID alternative in the summer........Had a progrow for a little/hated it....still looking

I've got 2012 models so maybe the fans are better quality than the ones you're familiar with. Mine are pretty quiet, though like I said not silent.

48 hours from now I'm going to have a shitload of LED light running

So the babies got watered tonight and the sickly og kush got transplanted to a bigger pot. I just watered her a couple days ago and was surprised she felt bone dry by weight. I think you gotta be careful watering these airpots it's easy to think you watered well but you end up with pockets of dry soil and the only way to tell is by paying attention to weight. When I have been opening them up for transplant last few days dry pockets is what I'm noticing. og kush does not have a strong root system i'm giving her extra superthrive. Made sure she was well watered in her slightly bigger new home (transplanted into roots soil).

Babies looking great... best looking generation so far. I topped all of them except the super mutant GxDC and quick dried/smoked them and I got pretty damn high. Felt the high almost first hit and by the 3rd hit I felt the body high coming on. Super stony/couchlocky didn't want to move even to shift my focus of my eyes. My feet felt REALLY good (!?). Anyway, that batch is gonna be some good stuff -- makes sense if it's the genius x deep chunks are from a true genius clone since apollo is genius offspring as well and i get a similar but less couchlocky high from the apollos. Probably because deep chunk is 100% indica. Unpictured: The G13xHashplant is getting *HUGE* in it's new home the fan leaves are getting big and up to 11 fingers the transplant didn't slow it down it actually sped it up.

Sour Kush (Reserve Privada) - Just plain beautiful and none of the sensitivity of the OG
sourkush-top.jpg

Medicine Man - weird twisting at the top - I think it got too close to LED maybe?
medman-top.jpg

Genius x Deep Chunk #1 - Genius Pheno? It's not a deep chunk pheno since DC is supposed to be 100% indica (tho doesn't really look it to me)

#2 - Supermutant - the one that topped itself

#3 - Minor mutant - this one is "only" missing a branch.

No comments on the next generation?

Flower girls looking sweet buds are getting noticably bigger and putting off more pistils every day soon they'll start frosting up especially once those LEDs go in :) I decided I'm going to go plain water on #2 and following my intuition/helicopter mothering on #1 and see which one comes out better... of course if #2 obviously starts needing something i'll give it but for example, today #2 got water and #1 got water with molasses and EJ Catalyst.

So I was patting my back about getting such a great deal on that ozone generator I received last week... well it worked 2 or 3 days then the uv light stopped working/generating ozone... so now back to now generator. Contacted the place it's sold luckily it's local so hopefully he will let me go in and swap it out.

I'm stoked you are getting some lights man. If it doesn't work you can probably get a tan under them ;) Pics and impressions as you get time.

I'm sure it'll work... I've seen people get good results on less wattage from blackstars. I only need to get 1oz/plant to make my minimum goal (6oz every 2 months). Somewhere between 6 and 12 is where I think I'll end up landing, hopefully closer to 12 than 6. Could be more than 12 but I don't think the plants are going to be old/big enough to put out that much. Maybe second generation well trained from cutting. That reminds me I need to check on my cuttings in soil hopefully they're still alive :)
