Let them get bigger and then you can go 12/12 to see if pistols show and then you will know and back to 18/6 to keep vegging.

I’m thinking of upgrading one pot, I boought some of the fox farm soil is it bad to mix two different brands?

You can mix them, foxfarm is great soil. I'm using MG myself right now due to my budget but normally I use foxfarm ocean forest.

Wait to pot up, and make sure the soil is dry at least an inch deep before watering. What MG potting soil mix are you using? You may be giving your plants to much nutrients with that soil.

Two 8 watt led full spectrum plant lights that produce 65 watts which I got from walmart

Drop them inches from those plants, I would start with 5" and do some serious LST. Maybe trellis? best thing you can do is study and get some ideas. God Speed.

The 1st and 3rd photo I posted is me trying to lst around the brim of the pot but the growth is the only problem, but does that seem like a good idea?

You can start training it now. You only have 16 watts going and probably too far away as well. Double whammy. Get more light if you can. At the least, drop them as close as possible while still maintaining a good temperature

Can’t tell yet. Your plant looks nice . Health looks pretty good. I see your still not giving it enough light but it does look healthy. How long in 12/12 so far? Unless you want loose buds that’s are less frosty..less terps..you’re gonna need to double up on light intensity.

Its definitely the lights giving you worries. I adopted two auto Jack Herers that were grown under two 9W grow led lights from a local store. The plants when they were young looked very much like the ones in this picture before I took them over.
You need a bit more light even a $100 led light on amazon will give you better results. True wattage is more important than advertised wattage. If a 600W light only pulls 150Ws from the wall its really a 150W light for the plants perspective. If everything goes perfectly and you have a good light you can get up to 1 gram of bud per every true watt of light, whether thats LED or not.
If you want to grow these out with the lights you have I would focus both lights on the plant as close as you can get them and try to maximize the light coverage. As it gets older youll probably have to focus the plants energy on only a couple main stems and make them main colas that you will focus the lights on. If all you have available is those lights I would still get a few more of the same ones or a few 3500K CFL lights which you can probably find at walmart

The 8-tube T5 HO lights that I am vegging under, I bought for $40 on offer-up and included 8 extra bulbs.
I know about growing on a budget.
The only NEW things I paid for back then was my soil.
Just keep your eyes open for deals.
