Since you flushed, they're ready soon, as in a week or less? If so, nothing to worry about and, at this late of a stage, it's very hard to correct anything anyway with the plant putting all its energies into flowering.

The only way that becomes a problem is if it gets up into your tiny sugar leaves - pain in the ass to trim that out. It is weird though, and it does look like K deficiency. K is the most mobile element in the soil, so maybe your flush stripped it out.

That's the thing, I'm only at 5 weeks and I was just giving her the 1 flush because I thought I had ph probs, but I guess it was a k deff, and I made it worse by flushing........live and learn :wall:

Hmmm... alright. So there is some active grow time left here. I guess with bagseeds, you don't have an idea what the finish time will be? If your growth tips are still looking good (the new stuff coming out - the old can never repair itself), I'd suggest just standing pat and observing those carefully. If they're growing out normally, you're probably alright. Most imbalance and deficiency problems have a "lag time" - it takes a few days for the soil condition to be communicated thru the plant.

The 3 bagseed are fine, I got 10 Honey Dew clones the first time around and cloned off them, this was the last of the clones. Dude I got 'em from only said they're an outdoor plant and named Honey Dew, that's all I know about them.

All the (sugar leafs) are pretty well cooked, but all the bottem buds are nice and green and healthy as can be.
Is that a good thing? I was almost thinking about taking my loss and cutting all the tops off and expose all the new healthy bud sites.
Or should I just leave it?

I haven't had this happen to me, but other folks have reported these kinds of "creeping necrosis" gradually working their way into, and destroying, the buds. A similar thing happened to me last year and it arrested (by flushing) before it went into the buds per se, but I had one plant that just could never finish after that. Her top cola came out fine; I buried about 2-3 z's of side buds, though. The flushing stopped the original problem, but created some of its own.

If your tiny sugar leaves (the ones way in there..) are cooking... I dunno... At 5 weeks, it wouldn't be worth much as smoke, so cutting off the fried top in favor of the healthy bottom might be a good move. Hopefully, those healthy bottom buds are saying.."thanks for fixing the problem, hardroc!".

I guess the key question you have to answer for yourself is...."can these fried tops stumble thru another 3 weeks to produce some useable smoke.."

Definitely good to have some healthy growth to work with, for sure...

Hmmm... I guess you have to ask yourself: Do these tops look like they could stumble thru another 3-4 weeks to produce useful smoke? If it's clearly a "no", I would probably chop the fried bud and put the energy into the good stuff.

The "top down" nature of your problem might help you refine just what the problem is, too. Some deficiencies and imbalances start out up top, some down low, and that can be diagnostic.

For what it's worth, I burned up some plants with too much bloom food last year and, even though all the leaves including sugar leaves got fried, the bud still turned out great.

Jan 31st, well I chopped the fuck outta my honey dew last week, and I got 98g's wet off her, they're in the paper bags now and will have some pics and final weight up in a week or 2, nice buds for only being 6 weeks from the first day of 12/12. Wish she would've made it all the way............but I don't think she was gonna grow anymore after that flash fry overnight, shoulda never flushed her, she was only hugry and sucked all the juice outta the "sugar leafs".
Oh well, so far outta this grow, I got a male, hermi, one got fried, got 2 left, lets see if they servive. Both are bagseed, one is HEAVY sativa and the other looks to be a hybrid of some sort, looks sativa but not fully. Here's some pics of 'em. Also in the room you can see my 2 16oz party cup entries Orange Mass and Green Elfy. They're doing amazing. (knock on wood) Both are female as well

Well the Honey Dew, came out to be 43g's of nicely cured/crystal bud.
I chopped the " Baby Bag Seed" and that came out to be 74g's wet and hung dry weight is 19g's just put them in the mason jars today, so crystaly already just from the hang. I have no batteries for my camera either, I wish I coulda showen you the main bud, it was 32g's it's self (wet of course) so I can to cut her up to put in the jars. It's a shame too, they're the biggest buds I've grown thus far, but I'm gonna get bigger with the sativa I got going in there still. Gonna give her a few more weeks, the hairs are still standing striaght up and still getting bigger all the time. I don't even remember what week it's on.
If anyone's following this, sorry no pics I'm pretty pissed, I'd love to show off the best grow I've had yet, but...............
