5 o'clock's subcooled garden.....

quite a bit of both wen the goings good. scrummped dp is doing the job for sure. Im just starting the 8th week flowering of my dp and querkles, have u grown either and finished em?

I have grown out 2 female and one male of the DQ. The DQ5 is by far the closest to the cheese as I hoped for but without the funk, more fruity. The high is strong, confusing, and very racey. If I haven't smoked in a few days it can also bring on paranoia and almost a panic feeling til it settles in. The DQ6 was not as strong or racey but had a mango smell. It smelled so good I just wanted to eat the buds.....

I just checked on my Querkle and all but one of the 5 I germ'ed has cracked. I will wait til this evening to put them in soil. This will be my first go around with it. I also germ'ed 4 more Grapefruit and my last 3 DQ seeds. There is only one of each that hasn't put out a root yet. The ones that have will get put in soil tonight also. That will make 12 total new plants. Both of the DQ mom's have died and as of now only 3 DQ5 clones are alive and in soil. I took the last 2 branches of the DQ6 that showed any signs of life and they are in the cloner while I have my fingers crossed for roots on at least one of them. I only got about an ounce off of the clones I ran the first time and there's not much more than an 8th left.

Haven't you grown out the Querkle befor? or am I thinking of something else?
 
Here's some pic's I took about a week ago and some I took just a few minutes ago. The SD and JC2 moms have put on about 8-10 inches in height. Enough I had to move the light up because they were set for the trays. The new batch has cracked and will be going into soil later tonight. Enjoy.....

nice collection of pics mate. After smoking some querkle a mate of mine grew ive been wanting to grow it. I got 4 deep purple v.1.0 what ever that means lol, guessing its back crossed with its self lol.
 
Thanks Fred. I will be interested to see if I can find another good male in the new batch to make some more seeds with. The only one I don't want to loose is the DQ5 but if I get another cheesy plant or 2 from the last 3 seeds I will be making more inbreed DQ's.

Is the Querkle more stone than high? I'm getting a little bored with the constant high and am looking for more like my GF with a good stone.... A male may make a good cross with the GF. I'm already counting on a SD and GF cross giving me a great plant but I have to wait til the next batch of GF to be mature enough to pollinate, they just went in last night and it's a 10 week strain, so don't believe what they tell you about it being an 8 weeker lol....
 
the querkle ive smoked is a heavey hitter Strong all rounder and it seems my deep purp is gonna be the same vinegery lychee smell i love it equely to the cheese and psychosis
 
this is going to my first outdoor grow and i have 97 seeds. I'll appreciate all the help i could get or just come by and check my grow journal out and subscribe. see how everything turns out for my gorilla grow!
 
hes spamed loadsa threads not jus yours 5. I was 19 wen i did my first outdoor grow, that was a fooking long time ago lol.

Ahh yes, I remember the good old days of being 21. Sitting in my parents house debating weather to join the military or go shoot myself. I'm glad I chose the Army or I would never have gotten the chance to find out what life really was. I truely believe if I wouldn't have up and left like I did I wouldn't be here today, I was in a bad place... I think too many young people these days get in a rut and don't try to get out of it.....
 
well life makes us wot we are, you have to be young and stupid to become old and wise lol. I was diagnosed with ms wen i was 19 so that kinda put the kybosh on any plans i had lol. I discoverd cannabiss the year before so i fell back on that lol, 37 now lol still aint sorted my life out lol but its been a lot of fun.
 
Wow-----I'm 40 and had my first growing experience at 13(wouldn't recommend that to anyone). I didn't know shit about anything but had a refrigerator box lined with allum foil up in the attic. My sister ratted me out when the plants were about 2 feet tall. Shit I didn't even know about male and female plants. I remember pulling myself up through the attic access hole and rubbing the stems for a quick smell of D-LITE. It was a very depressing day when I had to pull the plug. I got sent to live with my father after that. I was depressed about leaving all my good smoking buddies behind but after I got settled in with the old man I learned allot over the next 5 years from an outdoor ex-Vietnam ganja grower(thanks pops!!!). Marijuana has been such a positive influence in my life and has opened the door for many wonderful experiences/opportunities/friendships and more. I really don't think I would have had a place in this world without it...
