Alright, I kindve did that today, just gave a normal watering without nutes. I wouldve flushed but I can't have the plant out until tomorrow really because of company staying over. I'll have better pics up tomorrow afternoon hopefully and i'll give her a good flush. Thanks for the quick response.

Hey man, love the little set up you've got. I'm looking to do something very similar just can't really find a good fixture for the bulbs. What did you use? I'm referring to the pics on page one where you've got your sprouts under lights. Any help would be awesome! Thanks

I would not recommend that set up to anyone. I literally took an extension cord, stripped the wire back about 18" and wired all the lights in series. It worked fine and never did anything to make me think it was an issue, but the thought of my apartment burning down while I wasn't home was enough to get me to change it to something less ghetto-tastic.

This is how it stands now, i'm getting kind've bothered by this. Suggestions, ideas or experience? The lights just went off so i'm leery of taking it out and flushing it. I figure itll be safe to wait until tomorrow morning when lights go on?

The buds are really starting to fatten up, i'm getting excited.

looks like a deficiency... prob a nute lockout. Flush with PHd water and watch to see if it progresses. Don't foget the leaves that already show dmg will continue to get worse. Just look for newly affected leaves as a measure of results. Resume 50/50 of whatever nutes you were using before and gradually work em back up.

Kk thank you for the heads up, I had no idea nute lockout could present itself from the veins outward.


What Gen RX7 do you have? I used to have an FD, my dad used to have 2, he still has 1 thats getting a 20b put in it. Love those cars to death.

She seems to have stabilized, if she got worse since yesterday its not enough for me to be able to tell. Hopefully in a day or two it'll be clear.




Those brown spots will be the death of me

looking good man...and yeah it seems to be clearing up...just remember..after you have a issue...dont look at the damage thats there to judge...after it turns brown like that its not going to turn green again...just make sure there isnt any new areas that start doing it....and she is starting to get frosty...good work man

Was passing through and saw mention of RX7. I specialize in building those cars in particular. I have not been able to build my own decent one yet, but building them on other peoples budgets give me my fill.

Nice grow, I think I am about a week ahead of you in my first grow. Its nice to see plants your owns age.

The burn hasn't spread at all since yesterday which i'm super excited about, watered her today with regular water. Next watering I plan to feed her at 50% of what I was doing before she burned. I only have one question though, as my girl has gotten bigger shes been drinking water faster, do you guys adjust your watering schedule to account for that? A month ago she would start feeling light right around every 2 days, now she starts feeling light after about 30 hours, would it be alright for me to switch to watering every day or is that asking for problems?



Also, today is the 28th day of flowering. Which I figure means theyre roughly halfway through flowering which is exciting because the buds are finally starting to visually fatten up and theres still a lot of time left. Any guesses on potential yield barring the possibility of burning her again (with lights or nutes)? I have no guess because this is my first grow and its still early, but if I get over an oz ill be quite pleased.

yeah...the older it gets..the bigger it gets..the more it will drink.ive seen some in 5 gallon buckets that get watered almost daily....just depends on the plant,co2 levels,temps.but im sure you can tell now just by weight when it needs water...keep going by that.

as for yeild...its kinda hard to tell with that plant with the nifty lst you did on it...looks like its going to have 4 colas right now..plus all the popcorn buds...i would guess around 55-65 grams..if i could get a pic from the side of the whole plant that would help...hard to tell the size of the bud sites from above

General Fabricator and Electrical Engineer. Unofficial titles of course but yes I build cars from start to finish. I handle the engine rebuild, I fab up all the supporting modifications for turbochargers, rewiring entire chassis, drive-train, suspension, aerodynamics and cooling. I am no one reputable in the industry, but the work I am doing should get me there one day, I hope.

Oh nice, I assume you do porting, pinning and all that jazz. What are some setups youve done? IE turbos, porting, engine management etc etc



@DJ - Thanks for the info, i'll definitely start playing with my watering schedule. I'll get some side shots of the plant tomorrow, its lights off right now. 55-65 grams is way more than I wouldve guessed, lets hope youre right haha.

Nice grow dude, I'm very surprised on how small you managed to keep it, my growbox is pretty short so i'm glad to see a good small plant out there. subed!

I had the worst dream last night. I dreamed Roxanne doubled in size overnight and grew into the lights to the point where there was no chance of saving her. I woke up sitting straight up in a cold sweat, it was terrible. On the plus side, she looks fantastic this morning. The nute burn has stopped 100% and hasnt spread at all since I flushed her. The buds look awesome too and are really starting to fatten up.


@Tfizz - Appreciate the compliments but it really is pretty easy. All its taken is some reading, 2 coathangers and some patience. I made my grow box pretty tall (~40") because I thought I was gonna have height issues but right now the plant is maybe 15" from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. I still could have issues depending on how much she grows, but I get the feeling i'll be fine.

I decided to kindve do a comprehensive photo set of my plant because its kindve confusing to see it from only a couple angles. I pretty much took pictures from the newest growth of the plant (main cola, top of the mainstem) towards the older growth of the plant.







This one should read "the only 2 only two sidebranches," the one that looks like a third on the right got pruned today because it was just starting to eat itself. It got burnt when the lights fell and the stem it was on didnt ever recover. I'll save it for brownies when I get clippings in a month or so.

So here's the deal, I'm going to be going home for Thanksgiving for probably 4-5 days, I can't bring the plant and I don't have anyone to take care of it. I'd feel comfortable leaving it if I could devise some method to keep it watered. I'm sure this has been accomplished more than a few ways but I figured i'd pose the question here while I searched. She drinks about 1.5 quarts every couple days.
