first pic...def a male...and its pretty far along..im sure by now one of its pollen sacks has busted and knocked up the other plant...if the other plant is a female...soon as it gets pollinated it will pull its hairs in...might be why you couldnt id it as a female...no pistils after its gets preggers...but dont get discouraged...everyone goes trough this when they start growing....nothing else it was a learning experience..take all that you learned this time and your next grow will start out..and finish much easier...maybe look into getting some killer fem seeds to not worry about getting males

I plan on getting some femmed seeds, I just used the bagseed as a trial run so I would only waste time and not money too. Its been just a tic over a week since I flipped the switch so idk if it wouldve dropped pollen, I'm pretty zoomed in for the pictures and when I inspected the sacks they didnt look completely mature. I really hope the girly is still good but i'll get ready for disappointment just in case.

Sorry to hear about the light falling on the plant man! that sucks, but it's good she is alright, and about the pollination, in the worse case you'll get less buds and some seeds so doesn't sound that bad to me for the first grows, you also get to learn :) and a few seeds you can grow some other time or give to your friends...

ach dude it's a dude... sorry to hear that but now you have a source of clones! clone that girl before she goes too far into flower I've used a clone as a mother from the origional with very minimal amounts of genetic variance.

I would do some clones, but this girl is gonna finish right as I need to leave school for home so I dont really wanna start any clones because i'll have a scheduling conflict.

Some more pics, shes finally shooting out white hairs all over the place. Seems to be recovering from the light burn pretty well, still growing super fast.

No bloom specific nutes yet, i've been using schultz all purpose(10-15-10) for the past 3 weeks starting at 1/4 strength and then transitioning to slightly over the recommended doses for the last week or so. It says to put 7 drops in per quart but for the past few feedings i've been doing 9 drops to the quart with no signs of burn. I'll probably keep upping it until I see signs of problems just because shes already been so stunted and generally tortured since she sprouted and not to mention the budsites that I lost when the lights fell. I water every other day now that shes bigger and every time I water she gets nutes. It normally takes a quart and a half or so to get ~20% percent runoff. The schultz has been working fine but its missing a goodly amount of micronutrients. I'll be buying some dynagro this week to use until she finishes, a lot of people seem to have great results and it has all the micronutrients and its reasonably priced so im planning to use that unless someone else throws a better idea out there.

And thank you for the kind words, i'm glad she came back too, i'd be really miffed if I fucked up now after two months of time invested and so many other set backs. With my schedule for college i'd have to wait until mid January to try my hand it it again and I dont want that at all.

sounds good bro...maybe look into some jacks classic...decent price...and about covers all your needs..i got the grow and bloom for around $16 for both...but go with what works best...since its getting fed such a small amount...maybe look into start a molasses feeding...will help fatten them buds up and give them a sweeter taste

Shit, I knew I was forgetting something, I completely forgot about molasses, should be fine though, its not like theyre finishing any time soon.

I wanted jack's classic because I heard so many good things but there arent any distributors anywhere near me. Theres a pretty well stocked nursery thats maybe 20 minutes away, i'll call them and what they have. I'd rather support local business and not wait a week.

Is not having all the micronutrients in Jack's a big issue or is it usually a not a problem?

jacks pretty much has all the micro-nutes....only think it does lack is Mag and Cal...im doing 2 grows right now..one in soil..one in a dwc system.im using jacks classis grow and bloom...to make up for the lack of mag and cal i use epsom salt...1 tbls per gallon...takes care of mag...then i put eggshells in my water...cal taken care of.with that..ph'd water and molasses...im getting great results...ill be starting some newly germed seeds in my dwc tonight...so ill know how jacks works in hydro setups.ive got one female plant about 2 weeks into flower right now...its in a 16 ounce plastics part cup (in a party cup cuase of a party cup growoff contest im in on here...i normally never grow in cups..but 3 gallon pots)in this party cup using those nutes ive got a 2 footer...well into flowering...should give me a decent harvest.and if you go looking for it..keep in mind they just did a change of company name...its now jacks classic..can also find it labeled as jack peters...some places have yet to order it under the new name

Sweetness, thanks for the heads up, i'll up the dose to maybe 11-12 drops for the next one and see what happens.

I just checked the plant before the lights went off, and hot damn, the amount of hairs has probably tripled, its starting to look like marijuana now and not just some weird little plant living in my closet.

She grew a bunch the past couple days and it felt like it was only a day because I was tweaked out on adderall writing a paper and I didn't sleep for 48 hours. The buds are shooting hairs out like its their job, she's really starting to smell nice now too.

Fed her today too, put 12 drops of schultz all purpose, 10-15-10, compared to the recommended 7. The most I had done previous to this was 9 so I feel like she'll be fine. Everything is going good, there was a nice budsite that I thought was gonna die because the branch holding it got burnt really bad, but it seems like its going to come back which is pretty sweet because it looks like its gonna be tasty.

And a little update on the box, I feel like I havent shown this in forever. I've got all the lights on her now and it really seems to be making a difference in how fast shes growing.

Thanks mang, i'm pretty excited too because I really have no idea how much to expect or anything like that so its still new and exciting.

Its crazy what people can grow in those party cups. Damn near every time I look at a party cup grow im thoroughly impressed. how often do you have to water those little buggers in there, twice daily?

I also flipped the switch exactly 2 weeks ago for those of you keeping track.

i was watering them like 1-2 times daily..but now got them in my dwc system.....the roots started growing out the cup...so i transplanted it into another cup with bigger holes in it..now the roots are growing into the water...so only watering every 1-2 days now
