man i wish rui would let me upload bigger picture files, these smaller files dont do justice. Anyways, the afghanis are finally 60 days old. all the pistals are brown. and have pulled back and the buds are swollen. Im officially spent do i cant make another trip to the clinic, im scraping into the resin surplus and want to harvest atleast 1 tonight. 2 of the afghanis have leaves that are purple and yellow tellin me that most of the nutes are used up. i just saturated the one im plannning to harvest tonight with water right before the lights shut off. Here are some photos.

All advice during these last few critical days would be very helpful!:weed:

That looks nice there sparki awesome xmas present huh? I know your running out of smoke so give us a pre-cure smoke report on that girl. Save the rest of the lot for the full cure though I say its sooooo worth the wait.

Yay no more black res and brown vaped stuff.
Just smoked some of the scissor hash and i am very stoned off my ass. The taste is very sweet and has some of that grapefruit taste going on. There is good expansion and seepage on the hit. Hopefully the buds taste as good when its all dried and cured. I'll be keeping you posted on the butter for sure too.

How much do you think you'll yield in dry weight?
i have no idea yet but im hoping for around 10-12 oz. no scale but im hopin i get a years supply.

just took a rip outta the bong with some of the popcorn nugs. no crackling and its burning white ash. good signs so far. taste and potency is a bit mild. im going to let the other two afghanis go for another few days to get some of the couchlock stuff. overall clean and smooth. im sure taste and potency will increase over a period of time

so i just grinded up 2oz of trim and i threw it into a crockpot with 2.5 sticks of butter. i just threw it in but it seems like i need to add more butter cause the butter. any help would be much helpful.

2.5 oz to 2.5 sticks is barely allowing the butter to cover all the herb. am i going overkill? right on? anyone?

i usuall add a cup of water to the mix and let simmer for an hour or so. Strain the mix thru cheesecloth into pan(I use a stainless steel bowl) put it in the fridge. As it cools the water and butter seperate leaving a nice layer of butter on top.Drain the water and presto.Sometimes i recook what i strained once more to make sure i get it all.

Some of the water will evaporate but it will seperate from the THC infused butter when put into the fridge to cool.
That pic i posted with my last post was what was on top of the water. Poked a hole into one side drained the water and was left with what you see in the pic. 250 grams of butter. I used 3oz of trim,3 sticks of butter and one cup of water.

I dunno bud is bud to me. Last harvest I had close to a half oz of trim so I bought 3 1/4s of some decent mids and made butter. Great night time sleep pill as I like to call it haha.

dude your recipe is ccrraaazyyy. i mean that in a good way haha. Just put the strained stuff into the fridge. its the darkest butter ive been in my life haha. need to go to the market in the morning for cookie mix but i have a good feeling already.

that's the recipe I've used for a while now. I use about 120 to 140 grams of cannabutter for a cake mix. Depending on the potency. The high? Let's just don't have anything planned for a few hours. Takes a full hour to fully kick in . I've done experiments if you can say on portion sizes different body mass people and such. Full stomach vs empty stomach before eating edibles. Peoples bodies break down food at different rates. Have fun;~)
