Humbolt Nutrients Myco Maddness

CONTAINERS

I am running almost the same lineup but I am using Oregonism instead of Myco Madness, and Pro Mix for my medium. Now that I switched from tap water to RO water my plants are loving it. How much does the Myco madness cost and how much/often do you use?

I run between 75-82 lights on and 60-70 lights off . Its pretty awesome the 600 isn't as hot as I thought.I'm ordering my fan and filter today.my humidity used to spike and that was from me turning my vent fan and box fan off when the lights went off so nox everything is on constantly.
so you have 75-82 temps with the tent sealed up and only 1 fan pushing air through your hood? sounds too good to be true wish mine were like that

Haha probably because the temps in my neck of the woods have been low, I expect some issues come summertime but I dunno, I didn't think a desk fan with a 6 in piece of ducting taped to it would do it but hell I'm not complaining.

And rasputin I have yet to use the myco, I figured with all the transplanting that id start using it in flower since the containers keep switching, and mine was 30 bucks for a 4 oz jar.

do you know what the temps were without that ghetto rigged fan system? Im thinking about making one of those ghetto systems to just want to make sure its worth it lol

When I first got my light I hung up my thermometer. Then I watched em climb to 85+. When seeing that it was obvious something was needed so I ghettorigged it by putting a nail thru th ducting and rubber banding it to the back of the fan then taping up all the open spots on the front while also taping the ducting. Temporary solution only it has held up for a month now. Let me also add I have one fan circulating air on the canopy and if its off my temps climb too. Also since the ghetto rigged fan isn't powerful I have a box fan blowing towards a intake on the bottom and I have a 4 to 6 in reducer on that intake hole to help get as much cool air as I can in there. Good luck

Just bought my fan and filter, filter is 650 cfm claimed its 31 inches by 10.5 inches and weighs 33 lbs!! It was only 79 so I couldn't pass it up. I also picked up the 6 in cap valueline inline fan, 435 cfm claimed. I think pullin thru a bigger filter slower will be nice, and my whole setup is only 180. Well I gotta get a fan speed controller on fri when I get paid but its only 25. Well take it easy, how do u think this setup will work for me?

I use the same fan to cool a 600 and 400 hood, and vent 2 boxes, and it works great. I dont use any filters though.

My cheapo 440 CFM fan is loud as hell even dimmed to a very low speed. I haven't done it myself but I hear that mounting it in a thick wooden box filled with sound dampening material can make a big difference.

just fyi you can use most dimmer switches to control fan speed - doesn't need to be a fan speed controller.
This is $12.00

I always use a larger fan than I need for my area and then use a controller and fan can push the CFM I need at a low speed and it's quite. I hear my 16" oscillating fan over my exhaust.

You can find those dimmer extension cords at some Walgreens, Rite Aids, grocery stores, and most Walmarts, Home Depots, Lowes... Pet stores carry them as well but charge a bit more.

Ok so I have a question for all those following my thread and I'm prob gonna make a new one imposing this question. Id like to get some new seeds started by week 5 or 6. I have 6 seeds now, 3 dutch treat and 3 bomberry. What could you all reccomend for me to grow out, I like the sedative, stoned high from the indicas but the uppity highs alright too. I'm wanting to spend no more than 150. I was looking at feminized but not sure if I wanna do fem or regular. I was thinking maybe something like ghs white widow or white rhino, next generations fem romulan, grapegod, grapefruit diesel or island sweet skunk. I am considering going with some old school strains made by nirvana, white widow or super skunk, I've heard snow white is decent and wonder woman. Oh well lemme know what you guys think would yeild well in my tent and provide some good dank.

Come visit Northern California and I'll toss you some Chocolope and White Russian cuttings or clones. ;)

Damn there are so many strains I would love to grow out. Really want to try Blue Dream (cutting only :( ) - one of my favorite smokes and huge yielder. DNAs LA Confidential looks like an interesting plant as well, super dark and won a few awards. Tying for favorite smoke of mine would be Mr. Nice. I received my Mr. Nice as a cutting from an old school Humbolt grower and therefor not sure if there is a seed company that offers the same original Mr. Nice genetics but Sensi Seed is currently carrying a 'Mr Nice' (G13 x Hashplant), that looks nice and may be similar - This is Mr Nice or Mr Nice Guy strain not Mr. Nice seed company.

Heard good things about that grape god and Romulan is nice as well. Tricky decision.

Dude I want g13 soooo bad, the one from dr green thumb looks really legit and dank, I'm kinda leanin towards something piney and earthy, lemony and kush dank. I have a month to decide but until I click that order button I don't think think I can settle on one, plushberry looks and sounds delicious
