Update 4-19-10:
All in all its a good day. The ladies are growing tall, closer and closer to the light. As you can see by the pic below, almost to the light, but they arnt being harmed, so I guess its ok.
The clones: They look pitiful. I dunno what I did wrong. Ill try again in 2 days if they dont recover.
Lame...
Anyway lets see here. You can see how bushy the plants are getting. growing over the ventilation line. Im going to mount the filter over the light when I get my C02 system but for now, its in the middle of the plants off to the left a little .
Below is a picture of the white widows roots, they are looking good, and a tad brown due to the color of their nutrient solution, I add a little floralishous plus, its organic and turns the res a brownish color. Its not BAD, just like a brown dye to the color of the water.
You can clearly see below the color of the widow, she is getting a little light in the leaves. I gave her fresh nutes yesterday, so Im going to add a little cal/mag into her res.
So I went into the room and looked at the res levels. The white widow definately drank about an inch of her 5 gal bucket. I added cal/mag to all the res's. I mixed the amount for the whole res (5 gal= 25ml for my 30 gal res, I mixed in 90ml, I wanted to undershoot it) I mixed these levels into 2 liters of fresh water and dumped them into the res's. Hopefully the color on the widow will bounce back by wed. We will see.
When I opened up the 30 gal res, I noticed a lot of water had been used up by the ladies. I replaced it with about 2 gallons of fresh nutes including
Sensi 2 part A and B
GH Micro nutrients
GH Floralishious plus
Hygrozyme
5ml of voodoojuice
root jumpstart (I use for the humic acid)
Notice the dark color the floralishus plus gives the water.
Well there's a look at the garden.
I'm still trying to figure out what Im getting with my tax check. IRS said its being mailed next week sometime. I have a week to decide. I was thinking about getting a CO2 controller and bottle with regulator. BUT, I know that another light for a perpetual grow is the smarter call. Although, I think the CO2 would vastly improve whatever flower I plan on getting from this grow. Damn, I wish I was getting $1700 rather than $700 haha then I could get both! I need a job
haha
BTW, I hope you guys like the new pictures Ive put up in the last 2 days. My camera takes way better pictures than my Iphone. I love the fresh green color it brings to the plants, they are as green as they are in my room. Its amazing.
Alright, thats all for now. Will update with more pics later. BYE!
