Wtf is a GIB light?

600w GIB Lighting Grow Light - Hydroponics HPS MH Kit on eBay, also Hydroponics, Plants Seeds Bulbs, Garden Plants, Home Garden (end time 08-Jan-08 19:15:00 GMT)

i found that, and thought it was a good deal for a 600w, but wntd to ask you lot if it was better than a CFL? as i obviously want the best for my baby.

I also wanted to ask you lot how much of a yield i could expect from this light in a medium sized grow box, with blue cheese beans.

and how many plants you reccomend putting in the grow box as i dont want to overcrowd it.

normal hps mh kit !

i don't think anyone wants to rekindle the CFL vs HID discussion.

never grew blue cheese so can't help there
and i think the amount of plants depends on the strain, lights, and how big you want them to be....

so its a HID light? klkl u reckon 600w could get a couple O's off a plant if grown right depending on the strain? im new and jus wanna know everything i need to before i start this.

To be honest, i didn't notice the GID - either a typo or a kind of light i've never heard of (which is a real possibility).

with a 600w HID light you should have no problem getting a couple of oz. a hell of a lot more than that with experience.

GIB-Lighting...it's a company that manufactures lights....thats all

Gib-Lighting

it's not a type of light it's a brand...they make grow lights, the controller(ballast) will run MH and HPS.....
