7 day old seedling problem

Hey everyone, hoping for some insight here.

These seeds were germinated on the 10-15 in paper towel, moved to 1" rockwool. on 10-18 they looked almost like they do now, without they curled leaves. They're under 2 21watt cfl and 1 20 watt on the side. they sit about 12" from the light. temp is normally around 85 with humidity around 45%. They have a fan blowing on them. I'm feeding them ph'd water that is as close to 5.8 but sometimes around 6.3. on the 18th I did give 2 feedings with 1/4 a&b nutes. I try to only dip the very very bottom of the cube in the solution

any ideas what I'm doing wrong? First time here!

NO nutes !, do you see roots coming out of those cubes ?

You really should read the growfaq, dont gve nutes to seedlings

12 inches is too far away for cfl lighting. 3-4" at most, closer if they'll tolerate it.

there is one main root coming out of the bottom of the cubes, some have some small roots branching off. I only did one feeding of nutes. I'll put them closer to the light as well and see if that helps.

oh I read the faq, but I thought I remember seeing somewhere that after you see roots you can 1/4 dose nutes. I'm going to read it again.

Any suggestions on what to do now?

personally.. i would put those cubes in some soil now and do a light watering .. see how they look in 3 days

take the cubes out of the plastic too

Yo crypies i'm having kinda the same issue. I germinated 6 seeds in rockwool on Sat. Oct 18th and so far only 2 have sprouted out. I have them placed in a grow dome or whatever there called and under a 400w Metal Halide about 18inchs away. My qouestion is, should i keep the lid covered or off? And when should i plant in soil? I will upload some pics soon if i can.

i would have just poped the seeds into soil what is the benefit of using rockwool, i use rockwool in hydro and seeds right in soil if im growing soil

I just did what the guy at the Hydro store said i should do. How long should i wait to put into soil then?
