8x8 Room - 18k or 24K BTU AC

I will be running four 840w LEDs , can I get away with the 18k or should I get the 24k to be safe?

18000 unless you need multiple dehumidifiers then I’d go 24

If it makes you feel better I’ve run 4000w hps with my 15k btu and temps were fine

1k on 8 k btus managed ok in a hot climate 120f outdoor ina 8 x4

Neither lol just lights hanging in a bedroom with a big ac, it was kind of a shit show of a grow tbh but my room temps and humidity were fine.

Depends on several factors. For example, I have a 12x8 sealed tuff shed that is insulated with foam everywhere but the floor and it stays with in optimal temperatures in the summer in Phoenix, Arizona with a mr cool 12k btu mini split. I’m running 2 680 watt growers choice lights, one dri eaz dehumidifier, and a water chiller that produce heat as well.

24000 for sure. You'd rather your compressor cycle/turn on & off,than run constantly.Most of the minis dehumidify quite a bit too. Better too much than not enough. For a few hundred bucks more,I'd go too much.
