So this one particular plant I have is 9weeks+ on for sure flowering, shes very yellow lost almost all leaves and looks to be dying. I planned on cutting it Saturday morning at 5am? Think its still to soon? Her smell has gotten very strong this week, a few pistols still look fresher is the only questionable thing. Also suppose to get heavy rains this Sunday

those pictures show it being VERY close. if not ready already, those trichromes look mostly cloudy with some amber but its hard to tell by the pictures, when in doubt leave it a little longer, if weather allows you to continue do it. i would do it another week maybe 2 at the most, if you wait you will see a huge difference in swelling.

The pictures dont seem to the buds justice tho, when looking at them in person. They have the dark tint to them, and hairs are not as visible, I have the camera pretty close. She has had bug, rot, mite problems, even nutrient problems lol.

And dont go by the pistils ever. go by tichromes. also start your flush if you haven't already. all waterings from now on should be done with distilled/de-chlorinated water

I noticed some nice swelling this past week, buds seem rock hard at this point, hairs just still showing a bit to much. Have picked damaged buds/tops for the past weeks and all have dried up and looked nice as well.

oh ok how much rot have you had? if its a decent amount id be cutting down now, the weather and humidity will take its tole on the plant as it gets cooler and wetter, but if you can protect them and get air on them do it. if you were to cut down now vs 2 weeks your looking at a 2%-3% difference in potency maybe.. i wouldnt be bothered by that myself , what would bother me is losing all of it to rot or bugs. but its important you FLUSH them or your beautiful plants will taste like what youve been feeding them.

Ive been flushing for 3 weeks lol, yes ive cut out an oz of rot atleast. It is suppose to be high 75ish from here on out. After rains, I also have other girls. That are doing better

Nice! ok then id chop start your drying , do an overly good tight job ok trimming and do it branch by branch not the whole plant at once . see how it works , then do the other girls. i wouldnt be hanging them all at the same time in the same area with an oz of removed rot. thats ALOT. lol Good luck Smokin fat joe, can you pm me pics of the finished dry product? or post them here?

This is one of the buds I took from her 3 weeks ago. When cutting out sections of rot, totally pre mature. But for sure a solid nug

Almost pay attetion to trichomes brotha they will tell you when shes ready... Your gonna want at lease 30% amber with the other 70% cloudy.. Another week or 2 you will be perfect.. Good luck

They never do
You don't seem open to opinion only someone to affirm what you re going to do
That is one way to learn
Carry on and good job so far

would have to kinda agree with this statement. Checking them is a major Pain, I broke my foot 3 weeks ago and Hate to cut anymore off her. Everything just worked for me this weekend. These are fresh pics from this morning. So I need another 1-2weeks. Can maybe live with that, Discovered mite problems this morning on another girl disappointing lol

Well I took it down early this am, everything seemed right. Washed and cut out all problem areas. Will post about others in a few weeks.

Went ahead and tried the bud washing too. Lol. I posted a dry piece afterwards, and a few pics right after wash. Seemed to work great. Thanks.
