I went into high production about 2 cycles ago in my 12x16. I have 6 pair of fiskar brand scissors and 2 pair of dramm brand scissors. They both rock, but the dam blades are going so dull after trimming so much bud that I desperately needed to either buy new scissors or sharpen them. I've never sharpened a blade in my life. I'm not a hunter and I stopped fishing when I was old enough to be interested in pussy. Needless to say it's a strange new world for me. I browsed through endless sharpeners on amazon and other web sites. I finally landed on a unit that was highly recommended by independent web sites other than amazon reviewers. I landed on the Accusharp Shearsharp for $9.79. Each set of scissors has a single phillips head screw. Pop that out and the scissors easily disassemble so they can be run through the sharpener tip to base. It was either this or spend another $50 on scissors. Doing that 4 times a year with each harvest is kinda stupid in my opinion, so I'm a proud new owner of a sweet sharpener. At least I hope it performs well. I'll report back. Arrives monday. I'm using it as soon as it hits the porch.
