A completely undervalued tool that all of us really need

I went into high production about 2 cycles ago in my 12x16. I have 6 pair of fiskar brand scissors and 2 pair of dramm brand scissors. They both rock, but the dam blades are going so dull after trimming so much bud that I desperately needed to either buy new scissors or sharpen them. I've never sharpened a blade in my life. I'm not a hunter and I stopped fishing when I was old enough to be interested in pussy. Needless to say it's a strange new world for me. I browsed through endless sharpeners on amazon and other web sites. I finally landed on a unit that was highly recommended by independent web sites other than amazon reviewers. I landed on the Accusharp Shearsharp for $9.79. Each set of scissors has a single phillips head screw. Pop that out and the scissors easily disassemble so they can be run through the sharpener tip to base. It was either this or spend another $50 on scissors. Doing that 4 times a year with each harvest is kinda stupid in my opinion, so I'm a proud new owner of a sweet sharpener. At least I hope it performs well. I'll report back. Arrives monday. I'm using it as soon as it hits the porch.

I got a 3x pack from poundland 3 different sizes, I've used them for many crops, give you an idea of the use they've had.

Circa 5 years, trimming only no heavy branches that's what pruning shears are for, they just keep going I reckon they'd still cut a cigarette paper

I've also a couple of quality pairs but poundland get the most use.

Seamstress shears are the best of the best. I saw a pair over $150. Blew my mind. You do however get exactly what you pay for in that market. How much ya spend on that hot rod set of scissors? That seems like one hell of a sound investment. Shit rarely lasts these days. Too many of us humans now. Everything is made to lower standards. What can ya do?

I still have a couple pair of pre-Chinese made Fiskars that I've never sharpened and will still snip into the tip of your finger like it's butter if you're not careful.

As far as sharpening goes. Learn how to use a whetstone and you'll get a better edge than any other kind of sharpener. But it takes some practice to master and many people never do.

I am sure that you have just endeared yourself to the female members of RIU.
I'm married and well past the age of hunting for pussy much less caring what anyone else thinks of what I have to say. I have a wife with big tits that I pound the shit out of whenever I want. To be honest it's a much better situation for me than when I was 14. Back then like most other 14 year old boys I had an abundance of boners and nowhere to stick them other than my right hand with a hustler mag in my left hand. What can ya do? Gotta get that baby batter outta your brain. Shit will make ya walk sideways man whether you're 14 or 44 :)

It might not Interest you but usually forum members are looking for some edge! see what I done lol "some edge :-) '

Scissors blades have different sharpening angles to knife blades, it might not matter in your case but it's at least worth checking out.
