A Deadhead's first indoor Adventure.

Thanks man, this Blueberry Kush (BK as it will be known in the remainder of this journal) is simply amazing. I can't wait.

Ok y'all GOOD NEWS

Blueberry Kush has poked her little head out and i put her in the soil with the veg lights running full force, gave her a nice soak.

Cheers!

Seeds in soil - Veg day one.

I plan on using LST to take advantage of my small space and maximize light efficiency. I want to start flowering at 2.5 weeks or 3 - i need a 2 foot plant max :o

We'll see i might end up crafting a new grow cab.

Thanks for the very quick responses guys!

Im so excited to see those little sprouts sometime soon, indoor growing is very new to me so every step is kind of a new thrill.

Update -

I watered my little baby seed and after watering it was visible almost on top of the soil :X so i gently put her back down in there and noticed a real nice taproot :D

I'm gonna have a sprout tomorrow :)

It's pretty hot in there from just 48 watts of cool light CFL so i need to rig up some computer fans, which I have.

QUESTION - How do i convert the PC fans to a wall outlet or should i just run them off the computer power supply?

And the fans have blue LED's in them will this be a problem later on when i go 12/12?

Thanks everyone

Have you pics of the fans with the LED's? If you can't take them out try breaking them or something. Goodluck with your first indoor grow

They're just 80mm fans with blue LED's in the corners, I'm just gonna run them off my computer power supply, a "Fan Ballast" if you will :)

She is doing very very great, I've never seen such a happy little sprout, her leaves are standing almost straight up :D

OK heres some pics, couldn't get the camera to focus at all for me so i pointed the things out

And there is no stretching although it looks that way, my lighting is about an inch and a half from the seedling.

Notice how the leaves are standing STRAIGHT UP on end. I know how to water

Ok everyone i put two 80mm CPU fans in the cab, the heat is alot more spread out now - plus i have one blowing on the little girl.

Yeah i turned the fans off cause when i checked on her next she had a small yellow stripe on her leaf (not the cotyledon) and a tiny tiny yellow spec on the other.

Do you think my lamp is too close? I'm gonna move further up right now.

Ok guys the first two sucker leaves are dead but the next set is in and looking bushy, although they do have a tiny tiny yellow tip on them.

you can use silicon to block out light, it comes in a tube similar to toothpaste i saw it for $2.99, mylar will cut down on heat in your garden,it comes in rolls in the gardening section, both are available at home depot. you can dissect a computer tower to get fans to aerate your garden, rewire them to a dc plug its fairly simple, you can find lots about this stuff on the web especially on icmag.com. *PLEASE UPDATE PICS*

My man and i are in the same situation with cash and supplies, hope this help isn't too late to help.
