U shuld keep the AG pumps running 24/7 but u shuld switch the lights to 20/4 or 18/6 for vegging depending on your choice.

Your lights can stay on 24/0 also did that from week 2 until flower and it worked out great for me.

Planted: 10/06/08 (White Widow)
Planted: 10/16/08 (Violator Kush, Night Shade)
Today: 10/16/08
I couldnt ever get the Violator Kush and Night Shade to sprout and after a careful inspection of both seeds they seem to have either; 1. Just been duds. 2. I hurt the white hairs trying to adjust them, or 3. Just bad luck with the AeroGardens perfectly designed styrofoam mediums... LOL HAHA j/p
So I decided its not to late to plant new seeds and just keep the White Widow topped until they all get about even hight. Of course I wont start topping the White Widow until its old enuff!
God I just hope this time around goes alot better. My first grow was a brease with the Violator Kush, White Widow and Power Skunks. They all germinated and sprouted perfectly.
White Widow is looking great! Ph is perfect.

Wow thats suks man. Thats y i do my papertowel method. They sprout 90% of the time.. I lost 3 seeds in the AG because of over watering or the shitty AG sponges.. I wanted to see how the night shade and violator went.. Dam.. Whats ur next plan of action?

I put the AeroGarden on the "Herb/Basil" setting (18/6) so the Violator Kush and Night Shade can germinate. I will change it to the "Super Grow" (24/0) setting once they have sprouted.

What up Dog, you will still get to bro. I planted a new Violator Kush seed and a new Night Shade seed in the exact spots they were.
I'm gonna give them a little longer dark period this time (18/6) and hopefully they will sprout and I can catch them up with there big sister the White Widow!

Added 1 ml ph-up but dont know if it will help since the AeroGarden nutes have a buffer in it but Its worth a shot. It looked just a little low. I also hope the Night Shade makes it. It dosnt really look to good to me. But I got my fingers crossed!

Yeah Im gonna get that shit after this grow! What do you think I should do about the Night Shade bro? I still have the lights on 18/6 figured that would be better since there so young to help root development but maybe thats the prob. ,, Maybe I need to go ahead and switch to 24/0. I just hope she pulls through! What do you think?

Na, I took the domes off last night since she already germinated and shedded her seed, I thought that was what you are supposed to do?
She looks alot bettter though this morning and I turned the AeroGarden on 24/0 "Super Grow". So we will definatly know within a few days.

Thats what i like to fukin hear baby.. Good for u man just got all my seeds in.. And i cut a bud off my plants and friday ill be testin that bitch out.. 3 months of hard work hopefully it paid off. The bud weighed 3.3 two days ago now its dried at 1.4.. Curing for 3 days and ill be smokin friday

Ya keep the domes on until the plants touch the dome.. Too much heat will kill the seeds immediately.. Ur right volcom

actually youre not suppose to let it touch the dome, as soon as it pops up past the paper, you should remove the dome
