Hello all,
I know this is my first post so let me start off by saying hello to everyone here. Glad to be here.
Ok, on with my problem.
I decided to plant out on my lanai of my apartment. So far so good, just a couple of problems.
*I am leaving them outside all of the time.
*They are about 3months old and just under 12".
*Not sure what strain.
*Looks as if just started flowering.
*For the past week or so they have been looking rough(see pics below)
*I know I have spider mites so here is my question.
I cannot find any fertilizer here that I am even remotely familiar with. I am currently living in Japan. Nothing is the same here.
I want to get rid of the mites so I was looking for a quick fix since I don't know any of the pesticides here or fertilizers for that matter.
I was looking for isopropyl alcohol however, no luck. The closest thing they have is ethanol.
1. Can I use ethanol/water instead of the alcohol? If not what can I use?
2. Since I have no idea of what fertilizer to use here in Japan. Any ideas on some home remedies? Does anyone recommend the urine trick?
3. Is leaving it outside all of the time good or bad. Should I move it inside?
Thanks so much for the help. I really want to see these two ladies survive.
I have two plants. The first two pics are just in different lighting. The last pic is well self explanatory. Thing is the last pic plant looks seriously funky, this I don't understand as they sit right next to each other. It looks as if the last pic is burnt or too much heat.
Please help. Thank you.
