Hey now, you know I can't tell you that. I have left quite a bit of identifying information on this site already. But, I will say it's a 4-year state school.

$7.25 is minimum federally. Things are much cheaper in KS, people are paid less. In California or Florida, a dishwasher can make something like $11-12/hr to start I heard. But I'm getting $7.75... only worth a half a buck more but still better than 7.25...

if your washing dishes, your starting at 8

there is no way a dishwasher would get paid more than the servers / host(ess) etc

Interesting. Well people in KS are idiots, I hate that when somebody tells me a fact and I repeat it later and look like an idiot. Or even when the whole town believes something and then you feel like an idiot for acting just like the rest of the town... then you feel really bad because you live in a town full of idiots. Anyways, that's my excuse for saying that wrong thing. An idiot told me this. Me, I've never worked in CA or FL, so I can't comment.

No joke, but he was indian. I used to be the guy who said taliban, dherka, jihad, arab, iraqi, 'turds and shit-tites' [off of the Larry The Cable guy goes to mexico and thinks he's in the Iraq war] terrorist motherfuckers, sand niggers, etc. But most of them are nice people, and you just look like an idiot for saying someone is from a different country than they are.

And yes, if he ever comes back I'm going on break the moment I see him. I don't care if I used up my breaks or the other person working is already on break. Maybe I can just tell the manager that particular customer sexually harassed me and I don't want to serve him.
 
nope not racist. I had the same job as you in a dept store. At the end I redused to help any indians. I mean from india. I know that sounds bad and to be PC I prob have to say it is but when you are in the trenches like parker you have to know that when any indians come up they will haggle and cheat for hours for almost no money. 100 percent of the time. It is a fact of life. I lost my buzz when whenever one of these customers walked thru the door. It is weird. Maybe thye are trained that way in india, farmers markets and bazarss. When it comes to cloes they are the worst too, you have to just lie and let them by shit that doesnt fit. They like it whacked. Lool, I am not kidding, so I would not lose my temper I refused to help that dude in the turban. This is so bad, huh, lol. I live in a seaport city and a lot of foreigners come thru. In the futire just leave. They wont say anything
 
When you can't over come your issues, and you blame others, THOSE PROBLEMS, or those situations seem to just keep reoccurring.

Much easier to just chill, drop all expectations and enjoy LIFE.

LOVE LIFE!

Who cares if he takes 3 hours to buy a single pair of gloves... fuck enjoy it, maybe you can use that material in a movie script or a stand up routine later in life.
