hey i was just wondering the fans do alot for you but what actually do they do for the plant. if anyone knows it would be cool to know

The leaves collect the sunlight and co2. The more the better. Short and simple.
Surely you mean "don't do a lot for you"? It ain't the leaves that you want to smoke.

so when u mean FANS do you mean the fan leaves or the fan that puts out air???? the fan that puts out air helps strengthen the stem of the plant. and the fan leaves...those are there to catch rays from the lights and collect the co2 in the air and also for flowering plants the plant takes all the elements out of the fan leaves like the nitrogen etc etc and puts it into the buds. you cant smoke the fan leaves, that wont do anything for ya.

The fan-leaves are the plant's way of creating a better leaf area ratio (LAR). The LAR is the ratio comparing the amount of leaf area per unit total plant mass. Since the leaves are responsible for collecting all the energy to drive the plant; the plant benefits from producing thin branches with big fat leaves, as opposed to thick branches with thin leaves.

Te create air flow whitch inten provide's co2 it is just trying to simulate mother nature.what the wind does out side the fans do inside it is important to get the fans on young plants because it also will toughthen the stems forceing them to become more rebust.but more important it enables you to have the lights closer and have the fan there to blow the hot air of the plants.i have a co2 tank so i use mine for the fan to just put a breeze through the plants shakeing them gently and takeing heat away from the plants.Haveing the lights close will enable you to get nice tight internodes this in tern will give you a bigger yeild.
