I ain't happy with my first order from 'Tude...spent over a Benjamin for 5 violator Kush and 5 LSD..both Barney's...only four sprouted under ideal conditions...two of each. I wrote Tude and they gave me some lame response about sending the seeds back so they could send them to the supplier..Yeh right.
I do have to say that the four that sprouted are amazing. wished at least half or better did though. Might use Sea Of Seeds next go round...[

watever yu do dont buy sensi seeds from attitude, yule regret it.old old old.

May I ask what "ideal conditions" are?

I ask because I have germinated over 20 seeds from the tude, including a 5-pack of barneys farm liberty haze with no problems. That germination rate is absolute shit and I'd be pissed.

Also, it is asked a billion times everytime something like this comes up but What did you say to attitude? I hope you never mentioned the word germination?

i get 99% germ rate using, dome, tray, heat mat w/temp controller set at 80F steady,1 florecent50w tube. i use jiffy mix, stick ea seed qarter inch deep.ro water w/ seedling nute.leave dome on 4 to 5 days..2 to 3 days all break ground.same worx for clones except root tech added and a good cut.this present gro 37/37 broke ground large plants.

I used a covered germinating tray that does 10 seeds in peat pots that sits in peat pot holder submerged into h2o.
A constant temperature of 85 deg..in a dark closet..

The reply I got from 'Tude was the one "everyone" said I'd get....I really had no expectations and I sort of understand their position but still...I also was told by LOTSSSS of people here that Barney's are the worst germinating % so you're one of the few that say different...but I will say this...I'm real tempted to try Barney's again ion spite of this because the 4 that did germ are absolutely AMAZING. Way beyond half of my expectations so I'm not sure I blame Barney's..I just wonder if the seeds were old..and they were not as dark and large as I'd have expected. Sending seeds back is ridiculous because it's stressful doing it once but to keep shipping them back and forth so they can send them to BArney's for examination AFTER I pull them from the peat pots??..makes no sense at all to me.

It's frustrating b/c I do think it's the luck of the draw and not always our sprouting techniques. I've used dozens of bag seeds I already had using the paper towel folded over the seeds stuck in a plastic bag...and the germ rate was steller...cept the seeds sucked...lol. I tired them also in trays and that worked well too...

I have a strong feeling it was the beans they sent me....who really knows? I will say this..the shipping went flawlessly...but what good is THAT if I get only four fucking plants for well over a hundred bucks?..ok so I did also get a few freebies but nothing I'd write home about...

The four that did work ..2-Barney's LSD and 2-Kush Violator ..and this is after the two on the right were shocked from the transplant into those air pots just a day or two ago...I actually didn't think the front one on the right would survive but it was so hardy she pulled through..whewwwwww...and these are also LST'd right after the transplant so they'd look way taller had I not staked them down like they are in this photo on the right and below...These are about five weeks from seedlings in my new grow room :)P1010257.jpg after the stress test was over-->

edit: the photo on the left was taken a week or so before the one on the right and below

Doesn't sound like their is anything wrong with how you germinated. You run them a little warmer than I do but I don't see that as a major factor. I only bought the single 5pack that had a 100% germination rate so I'd hardly call that a great sampling. It's just my experience. I have heard the same as you though concerning Barny's Farm seeds. With so much hate on them (and the tude for that matter) It's hard to tell what is true and what isn't.

Shipping seeds back and forth sucks. Yeah, I wouldn't get caught up in that shit but it does sound like they're like to try and remedy it. Maybe have them put a note on your account so next time you order they can tag replacement seeds onto that order? Maybe even place another order right now for them to tag the seeds onto so there is no chance of them forgetting to next time?

Thanks man..HEre's a longer shot...I worked hard on it. Being a builder/remodeler it comes natural at this point and I'm sick of just building shit for other people so what better thing could I build for ME :) I framed in a room right next to my laundry room..hung a drop ceiling using whats called "reflective white" tiles that are moisture resistant...used a big old 12" in wall exhaust fan that was conveniently there already on the right and cut in a new intake in the wall on the left and used two Y fittings. I can cover one side of the Y off if need be. The old fan is almost TOO strong. Sucks those ducts that are hanging right up...lol..almost instantly! Wish I could use a dimmer on it but you need to match the right dimmer and I have no idea so....It is pretty quite I do have to say the little I've used it. I love that I haven't had to turn'r on other than when I test'r but eventually I'm pretty sure I will.
the humidifier I have in there is awesome too...I fill'r up once a day..about every 24 hours. The humidty now stays at an almost constant 60% +- and the air at about 83-85 deg. I LOVE how I have so much control over the conditions...and so easily now too.

I'm concerned that when I divide this room up..one side to veg and the other to bloom the heat will be an issue so I spose I'll just need to reconfigure accordingly. wanna use some 6.5 mil diamond mylar with a zipper in the middle taped to the walls to divide it up..maybe even use whats left over for the floor to reflect light back up and to make it easy to clean http://www.ebay.com/itm/160785554440?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619#ht_9379wt_1398

Anyway..thanks again :)

How come you used Bud Candy? Are the tastes of those strains supposed to be undesirable?..and sorry but newb here..whats "ro" water? Is it what I use...I collect rain water in five gallon spackle buckets..

wow..really nice set up bro! I'm very impressed..So RO water is purified water huh from the filter before the cat photo? Is that much better than using rain water? Seems like it'd be expensive?? No clue. so far I haven't used any tap water. I get lots of spackle buckets filled with every rain being I have it running off a big blue tarp I have stretched out over my deck funneling out into buckets. I'm just assuming it's better'n tap water...
I'm using all FF nutes as well..I find them cheapest from Amazon but I saved a source I found from Ebay where the gallon containers beat Amazons prices...although I don't grow enough to need gallons so far.
I think my next nute feeding I'm going to still need my Big Bloom and Grow Big and add in some of the Tiger Shit,,I mean Tiger Bloom..which I don't see on your shelf? I do see you have the small containers of Ca Ching etc...I have to look into those...I scored the three pack that came with Tiger Shit, BB and GB...Like I said..I still consider myself a noob..and I'm sure it shows :)

Thanks man...In your opinion do you think it's worth spending another $80 from amazon for the
Fox Farm FX14045 Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz & Cha Ching Soluble Granular Fertilizer Tri-Pack, 3/1-Pound Canisters
I want em' to get a little taller so I can stake them around the pots some more (LST'ing)before I let them go into bloom.....and I've already spent a fortune...duh
I just ordered some Benifical Nemotoids and some mycorrihiza.I gotta stop somewhere!!!...I'm feeling like an addict..LOL

if u can get a better deal..i go to www.ehydroponics.com or www.discounthydro.com has the best full settups hood, glass, balast under 200.00 fro a 1000 watt, jus get ducting and a inline fan and ac pumpin there.
Thanks for those bro...I put them in my 420 folder...
HEre's the reflector I bought which I'm really happy with. It's a pretty decent sized compared to the others I've seen and it took me 10 minutes to assemble. It's very substantial and I doubt anyone can beat the price!! $75 and free shipping http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QKVV04/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00and my 600Watt Dimmable ballast with two bulbs (MH & HPS) http://www.ebay.ca/itm/600W-MH-HPS-DIMMABLE-DIGITAL-BALLAST-2PC-BULB-KIT-/300724540765?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item460494555d#ht_3448wt_1165
and a 3 year warranty was about $173.....totaling about $250...not bad..and I really like the reflector light....

Seems to be the same price now as it was then but prices do change so I'm keeping your recommondos and mine and some others on file for my next go round...
Thanks so much bro! Goes very appreciated!

PS..that reflector I linked from Amazon above got low reviews because one of the three reviewers was a douchebag and didn't measure his grow tent right so the reflector was too big....like it was Amazons fault...lol
