Had some trouble with couple of mods* there(*from the greek-subforums)...
Way too....Guh-guh-guh...
BTW,do you know the famous greek word "malakas" ?
Anyway...
I do not like that forum,at all.

Yes, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

A few over there can be A holes (amazing how a little authority/power can go to ones' head), but there are many really smart DIYers over there that, I, have learned quite a lot from!!!!! So I alternate threads/journals between RIU and IC. I have a thread over there this time that incorporates my updates plus those the lighting updates that I also post on your thread.

I think it's cool that I was in a position to test your led theories vs HOT5 + aquarium bulbs, which are the closest lighting option to leds, in that one can select various spectrums with the twist of the wrist, instead of a soldering gun. I remain blown away by low multi-panel watt leds, at least for personal use growers.

Had I not seen it with my own eyes and experience to make sure it was a fair test, I would be skeptical to spend hard earned cash to find out.

I mean your theory goes against a male's primal instinct that bigger is better

I mean shit, I have 432w HOT5 in veg, and now 324 in flower vs ~ 90 led watts, and bud size is neck and neck at the mid flower point, and I'm doing a half-assed version of what you are

His panel is a really nice one.Brother is havin' some problems with his reds....
I'm almost 99% sure that is a poor cooling thing. (dimming of reds ) .
Either,he has to do something with cooling (many diodes,packed close together -few small heatsink fins ),or he has to underdrive all the leds a bit...(specially the reds )...
No hard feelings from me towards him.He seems really a very nice guy.
Probably I was too much of an asshole towards him,at a point.
I'm very sorry for that.

Later on ,maybe he has to consider ,to add some reds (630-640-..& maybe some 660, but not much...2:1 =630:660 )...

More is better...
More low wattage led diodes ,distributed in more (than one ) panels...

I have made my spectrum suggestions to their threads early on.

The shit Vuk is going through is typical of jumping in without a strong background (like I did with hpa, and hydro in general). This is why I chose DIY using vanities and screw bulbs. Even I can do that.

FYI, whenever I see threads asking 'what's the best leds', I refer them to your www

I had no luck running down original erector set metal bars, which would be an awesome compliment to your multi-panel leds

I am aware of inner earth societies. The one at the SP is said to be 3rd Reich

^^^^^^ha good stuff.............yeah they banned me too at IC, Gipsy is a douchebag/ when his taped firing of an employee went viral...the ban hammer came down on allot of good growers over there; oh well...........Rives is an awesome DIYer, tried to make him come here to no avail.....Pet why don't you start a thread in the led section with this new all white grow???????????????

Not going to get to an all white low watt led grow for a while. Why do you think I keep pushing others? :hump:

~ 3weeks to harvest, so I cut my HOT5 tent lights back to 4 total yesterday = 216w; 3 UVL Red Lifes + one ZooMed Florasun. That's still almost 3 times the wattage in my led tent.

The ambient temps have been too warm here, especially under the HOT5s. What little radiant heat they throw is enough to dry out the pistils within 12". I raised the fixture as high as it will go + took out 2 bulbs (108w)

I think I will, but it will be a Lowes/HD screw bulb arrangement that just about anybody can do. I already have the vanities 1 @ 4 bulb + 2 @ 3 bulb + the Y's for broader/wider coverage. No room in the inn just now, but very soon. Got 6 good clones all growing under harvest light spectrum/light conditions

I made a lot of mistakes, learning on the fly as the info was/is not readily available

I did learn a lot, and applied some of the techniques to my F & D system

what I like about f&d is its reliability as opposed to dwc these days I'm growing in royal gold tupur f&d in one tent & dtw in the other I'm on my first run with the tupur but so far I'm liking it
