Absorb your profits

The answer is start a business so you can wash your money, idealy a landscaping endeavour would be ideal. This allows you to order any number of items for the growing of plants without question of motives. Also it can lead to another business of opening a nursery so that you have a good piece of land for growing flowers and what not. So you have a legitimate reason for having a number of large greenhouses. Now you have a nursery and are getting all the supplies for your landscaping business at lower costs so now you make more money with that. Have a greenhouse or 2 at the back end of the property for your cannabis. Now that you have a nursery and your raking in the cash from 2 business's theres not gonna be any question about your income or how you got it. So no i get to my point, dont sell weed for profit after you dont need to anymore. Sell enough to get something legit started and then grow for personal and maybe your friends and family. If you think your gonna be a pot dealer in a state thats its not legal then you are going to get caught eventually. Maybe you get away with it for 10 years and youve got tons of cash that you cant even really use because of fear of showing off money that you cant account for. Sell your pot and start a small business and let it slowly evolve into highly lucrativce business
do what this guy says if your a professional grower

Recently I have seriously thought of Prepaid Visas, you dont have to show id to buy them, you can get them in 1000 dollar incriments, you can use them anywhere. Seems like the answer.
Barry Cooper recommends those pre-paid credit cards for buying equipment online. No paper trail to lead back to you if they decide to subpoena the hydro store or seedbank. Although I think he is nuts in his recommendation to consent to a vehicle search if you hid the stash properly, I thought that one piece of advice was killer. I don't want to have to send a m.o. and wait for it to clear or get lost when buying beans. Now I can just use a pre-paid and nothing on my bank records to link me to the purchase.

Sure, but they can be used anywhere. I can use it to buy groceries with it if I want. So if I'm planning on buying $140 worth of seeds, there will be no problems using the other $60 on a $200 card at Kroger or Walmart.

Yes, I have tried the prepaid visa method and after you deposit the money onto the card you have to activate it before use. Activation consists of name, social, address, phone number, and other personal information.
Here's some useful information on the pre-paid cards
Anonymous Phone Calling & Tricks How do I pay anonymously online?

Something I am going to recommend is called an American Express Gift Card that you can find at your local Walgreens. You can buy one of these with an amount from $25 to $500 on it without any personal information required. The card fees are very low and usually range from $3.95 to $6 when activating, which is well worth the privacy this card offers. It looks something like:
Now the kicker is, you pay this card in cash and there is no paper-trail to your name. Try to buy it from a store you don’t regularly visit. Most stores have security cameras (which are poor quality as it is) but we want to make sure nobody knows you to conceal your identity to the fullest. These cards do not require any phone or online activation. However, some merchants online will do an address check when using this card. Now, depending on the merchant, you can just make up a fake address, however, some require that the address does match on the card. Now after you buy the card, get access to a pay phone or prepaid phone that is not in your name. You could also use a Caller ID Spoofing service when calling them so they do not have your phone number. We are going to call American Express Gift Card line which is even open 24 hours a day for all you night hours out there. Their number is 1-877-AXP-GIFT. (8771974438) Get ahold of a live person (just enter the prompt to say that your card is lost or stolen.) Once you get ahold of someone live, tell them you want to add a name and address on your card so you can use it online. They will ask for your information, in this case you can make up any name and address and it will be complete and matched to the card. Congratulations, you are now 110% anonymous.

I dont see how having a pre-paid visa would be a good idea at all.. ITs just another way of tracing money and transactions. Use the cash you make to buy non-essential products ie booze, cigs nice food and pay cash. Do a small shop for need only groceries and use card. If anyone gets sus the will go straight to your bank account transactions and see if there is a) an unusual amount of deposits or b) not enough withdraws or spending. You will most likely be caught this way during tax time. If the tax office is sus about your cash flow they will audit you and thats just as bad as inviting the police over. Dont do anything silly come tax time to try and get a bigger return. Stay under the radar. More banks more evidence.

Best thing to do is only keep cash. Pay for everything with cash and dont use your real name anywhere, also dont keep any receipts. If you want to buy a house or expensive car(or any other item which you need to register) have someone else buy it in their name (with a legitimate income) and put you on the title also(shared). Make sure its someone you trust(family member, etc..) if your renting keep the house in someones elses name. if that cant be done or you are scared to keep all cash and want to make the money legal, you will have to find someone to wash it for you through a bussiness, or you can start your own, any type will do. I myself like to spend the money I make so i dont have to worry about hideing it, and there is a chance it may end one day so make it as fun as possible. If you do want to hide money cast it into cinder blocks with cement and bury it somewhere that will never be unearthed. Dont forget about foreign banks also. And money orders. BE SMART. as for buying cars with cash, get it used. They wont notice the shit you buy unless there watching you already.

Some of you really need a reality check.

Cash Transaction Reports (CTRs) have to be filed with the IRS on any cash transaction of $10,000 or more and the rule does not only apply to banks. The rule applies to "anyone involved in a trade or business" not just banks.

IRC, Section 6050
Report of Cash Payments Over $10,000 Received in a Trade or Business -Form 8300: Filed by persons engaged in a trade or business who, in the course of that trade or business, receive more than $10,000 in cash in one transaction or two or more related transactions within a twelve month period.

Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) are required to be filed by some businesses on transactions of as little as $2,000 or transactions that aggregate to $2,000. SARs can be filed by ANY business that has reason to believe something fishy is going on for transactions of $5,000.

Depositing $10,000 in a foreign bank account over the course of 12 months will trigger a CTR too.

Tossing cash around buying things you don't have the reported income to be able to afford WILL get you busted eventually.

We can maybe take lessons from the Friday Night Bank Robber. In spite of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars, he reported much if not all of his 'income' as gambling winnings.
There are other ways to launder money using casinos but IMO, having a real job or a legitimate business front is the best way to launder money.
