Adding nutes

I have a question about adding nutes. I plan on growing with 4 bubble buckets. My nutes are Blue Planet 2 part. Question is, Blue Planet feeding schedule is broke down in to 2 week increments. X amount for weeks 1-2, X amount for 2-4 and so on. Say I am in week 8 for example and need to top off or add nutes, do I add the same strength nutes for the corresponding week or do I add a lesser amount of nutes? I guess what I am asking is, do the nutes pile up if you add or does the uptake of water to nutes keep the water in the bucket at what it was when you put it in there. For example if I had a solution of 100:1 would it stay 100:1 till the bucket was empty or would it pull more water than nutes or vise versa ?

I know my wording is hard to understand but I'm really not sure how to ask what I need to know any other way.

Thanks for any advice as it is much needed.

That's were your PPM meter comes in,

If you keep track of your ppms you'll know what needs to be added for top offs,

Say your starting ppm is 1000, top off time you check and it's 900 you'd know your plant has been hungry,
OR you check and it's up too 1100 you'd know she's been thirsty

Ppm meter is a must have I'd say.
(Some people use EC meters)

I have a TDS meter. I'm kind of wondering how much of my nutes to add to raise a certain amount. Say I check and it is like 900 like you said, how do I know the right mixture to bring up to 1000? would I mix it say 10% stronger than I mixed the 1000 ppm solution so as to bring it up?

if you addback 10 gal of water, start by adding 1/4 str feed for 10 gals of water then you can add more if you need to.. you want to maintain that weeks ppms

It kinda also depends on how much water you need to top off with, but yea that's the right idea,

I have friends who only top off with fresh water until res change but I like to keep ppms same,

After a few tops offs youll have it down
