adding perlite to pro-mix BX????

hey everyone!! i bought 3 bails of pro-mix BX and 1 bail of perlite,, thats 11.4 cu ft of pro-mix and 4 cu ft of perlite,

now, is it really worth adding the extra perlite, what are the ups and downs with perlite and added perosity???

i imagine i will have to water more often,

any insight would be appreciated thanks!!

indoor or out? I add a ton of perlite to my promix but i like to water twice a week
