fdd has deleted posts and by doing so only admits being one of them losers.. I do not feel fdd is MOD worthy, you don't delete posts because it had something to do with you, or it simply pissed you off, fdd that was totally on called for, I'm normally a nice guy and don't lose my temper that easyily but you pushed my buttons...

I cant speak for everyone else...But I dont hate on the CFL idea. They serve their purpose for different things....I use them for clones. And they work great.

I tried doing a grow with them.....and quickly realized I was going to need alot more cfls....so I just got the cheap HPS from HTG Supply. Then I realized I wasted a month or two trying to grow with the cfls.

For a new grower still needing to learn about nutes, light schedule etc.....and only growing one or two plants....maybe its better not to spend the $ until you know what you're doing.

But once you do know how to grow.....and want more yield than 2 plants can provide.....I do have to kinda laugh at someone knowing there's better options and sticking with something proven not to give as good a result.

But to each their own....And if you cant afford a HID....Getting 32 cfls to compensate is just....kinda stupid. JMO.

This is why I shouldn't post when high, thanks Bloodshot nicely put again. Also HIDs can be used quite nicely in small areas with a tube or a simple oscillating fan:mrgreen:

i see a lot more people switching from CFL's to HID's, as opposed to HID to CFL's.

think i'll throw out this 600 and grab 20 CFL's instead. they run cooler. hahhahahahahah

Maybe we should start the CFL forum so we can get rid of those same questions....

What is a cfl?
Did I get the right kind?
Where do you get them?

I think after those three questions the CFL learning curve is done...

Oh I'm sorry keep the lights like 2 inches or so away. And yes you need to adjust all 20 bulbs almost everday.

Anymore questions? OK I change my vote to yes just so we can get rid of the same CFL questions everyday.

i have a 1000w of HID goodness in a box not much larger than an oversized refrigerator and don't have any heat issues - only overgrow issues. Don't really mind those.

But i'm not gonna hate on the CFLs because i've never used them so would be talking out my ass anyway. It just means i won't know how to help out with CFL-related questions/grow problems. It would be handy to have them in one place but i don't mind bowing out of discussions involving them either.

Yes these cfls are probably screwing with my eyes but not my brain, you aim to tell me that you accidentally deleted them posts, get real .. those posts got to you, you and I as well as anybody else who got the chance to read them know better, either you need to slow down on the dope, or you're just flat out stupid or dumb, take your pick..

After chilling for a bit with my handy pipe in hand, I got a chance to think about this situation, yes you absolutely pissed me off, witch doesn't happen very often, I can handle your nonsense but deleting posts such as you did, that's just not right. I have been biting my tongue not to reply to some of the crap you post and then you come to this thread and pull this shit, now I feel I need to say a few things, damn it!

I normally ignore people like you and have been doing a pretty good job of it thus far, I admit I did get flared, however I came to the conclusion that you are not worth the space in my brain, I don't have that much left and I'm not going to fill it up with yours or anybody elses nonsense, I don't want any animosity in my life right now, lord knows Iv'e had my share.

On a finale note, people who put down or make wise cracks toward lighting other than mh/hps are losers in my book.

It's not the word HID it's how some people use it, fuck is not necessarily a bad word, only if you make it.. thanks for trying to help however I'm perfectly happy with the results I'm receiving and don't need anybody telling me that the hid is better, I'm thinking we all know this from the start.

Next thing we know we're going to be making a Lowryder only forum....I mean why do we nedd the CFL forum, everyone just calls us dicks and losers instead of just sayinf this is why we need a CFL forum now shut up Gygax...lol

last time i checked this was a forum on the internet, and that anything posted on here thats offending somewon or was posted by accident in this case, would not be something that anyone with any level of maturity would take as any real offense. Its a post humboldt get over it smoke a bowl do whatever but why make and argument out of nothing and then turn the whole thread around into a fight fest and then nothing is accomplished. Like i have said to other people if you don't like a post then don't even respond to it just let it go and go help a newbie out or something. But if you really do get offended by a internet post then you have some issues:mrgreen::peace::twisted:
