adjust ph before or after nutrients ??

Hi everyone,

Im just about to start feeding my girlies and i have never adjusted ph before asits my first indoor grow. My question is do i adjust the ph before or after adding nutrients ?

Either way, I always adjust before and test after, to fine tune. Nutrients tend to change the pH when introduced. As long as the plant is happy with your end result it doesn't matter.

Throughout the next couple of days, the pH will change in hydro even more, while the nutrients are being absorbed.

The nutrients effect ph, so after. If you adjusted you ph to 5.8 before nutes, then the added nutes took the ph 4.9, then you would have to add up. Never before, always after.

Always after like ^he said. Nutes usually buffer the ph of the water to perfect or closer to perfect than before you started adding them. Nutes are basically like phing solution so use em first and then get it where you want it with the real ph solution.

I thought it be more important to ph the water first. That the nutes are entering the proper water type. And adjust if have to. It makes sense either way before or after.

Just pH once, last. It's easier this way.

Yer had a go with doing both n seems to have worked pretty good... cheers for your help
