Advice for Quick Grow

Hi Everyone!

I've been delaying my next grow for quite a few months, so now I'm running quite dry.
I just put some seeds to germinate.
4x Granddaddy purple - Purple Dream
2x Granddaddy purple - Bay 11
2x Granddaddy purple - OG Kush
2x Cali Connection - Boss Hogg
All Regular seeds I got as a freebie...I figured if it's gonna be a quick grow why waste those hard earned expensive seeds hehe.

Also, I'm still expecting some people to come around to visit, to buy my house, so smell needs to be kept low key, and I have turn off the fans for the visits

I'm using a 2x2 tent and a dimmable 400w HPS & MH, 400CFM extractor and Carbon Filter as well as an external A/C.
Since I'm almost out, I need to do a quick run. It would be my first time going quickly so I'm looking for pointers?
Adding more seeds (fem)? RP OG Kush, Sensi Seeds Skunk #1 or OG Raskal Regular Fire Alien Super Skunk.
Size of bucket for each plant?
SOG or SCROG?
How long to veg?
Any tips?

i don't understand what you mean by a quick grow, how do you do that???

glad you got the strong smell thing under control, the GDP's wont smell at all, lol...i grew them once and the stunk so bad, it took days to air out the house after the harvest

I mean that I'm used to taking my time, something like 3 months veg 9-10 weeks flower, Harvest, Cure for another month.
Basically, I'd like to get into SOG or ScrOG, this year.
Last years OG Kush didn't smell much...maybe it's just my tent containing it all...IDK

you could speed things up by only vegging for a month under hid lighting.

For speed, sog. Lots of small plants, minimal veg time.

What size of containers would be recommended for SOG?
And what exactly is intended by minimal veg time?

i don't grow SOG. but i would do one gal for it if i was. I would keep on 18 hrs for about a week or two afte they seem "established" and flip.

I would get a bunch of autoflowers and run 18/6 if I were you if you can handle the heat output.

the potency for autos is good (just as potent as some of the best I have ever had)
the yield for autos is comparable to 12/12 photoperiod from seed
Autos finish 2-3 weeks quicker than 12/12 photperiod from seed.


I have tried autoflower under 12/12 and also outdoor... Both were some of the best I have ever had. I would only imagine better if 6 hours additional light per day.

The autoflowers I tried were Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto and Skunk Mass Auto

Growing from seed you can't do a SOG, that is taking rooting clones and putting them into 12/12 NO VEG and ScRog takes longer then most methods. You gonna need to veg for at LEAST 40-60days, or when the plant is mature enough to flower- you can try and flip them to 12/12 before this but you'll be wasting your time and your yield will be negatively impacted.

Veg under HIDS for faster development, and switch to 12/12 at the first sign of maturity. From seed your looking at a minimum 3-4months.

SquidBilly, veg under MH I did my last grow with only an MH.
And the reason for a quick grow is because I'm real poor right now, dental work needed as well and if I'd buy some autos it would cost me and I'd have to wait for a month to deliver...at that point I might as well buy some already grown weed hehe

I was expecting 3-4 months for flowering at the very least.

I would sprout out the seeds and veg them for a month and take a clone off each one then flower all of them and which ever one i feel gets me fucked up and stay fucked up, id veg the clone of it and make it a mother then get rid of the rest. Using the mother i would take about 12 clones every two weeks and set up a perpetual flowering garden rotating 12 new clones into the flowering every 2 weeks

number of clones may very depending on space available

takes about 6 months before you produce enough bud, but every 2 weeks from then on you are getting a harvest

If you want to do a quick run, based on your medium, I would use some 1-3gallon pots and just do 12/12 from seed, will be a quick run, depending on the amount of females you get, could get you atleast 2-3oz easy dry weight

If you're not interested in perpetuating the seedling go 12/12 from seed and don't do any topping or FIM.
In any event you are looking at 12 weeks from seed to chop unless you chop early, losing a lot of weight.

When are these people coming to view the house?

Getting a second tent is the next step, for mothers. However since I'm moving soon (fingers crossed), it's not the right time to upgrade and I'll have more space at the new place, so choosing a tent will go accordingly
I'll probably do 2-3 weeks veg and flower them after that.
It is sad that I didn't have a second tent because I had an insane RP OG Kush that I wish I could have taken a cutting of...

if you want a quick grow you could plant bamboo

For cheap auto's that are good, Pyramid seeds, or Norden Seeds.
If not, just sprout your seeds, veg until u have 4-6 sets of leaves, flip to 12/12. At week 6 of flower decrease your lights to 10 on/14 off and cool it down at night, they may finish a week/week and a half sooner, although you will lose a few grams of yield.
The ONLY autos i found to grow and finish within 7-9 weeks from seed are Afghani's, domina dominant (lol) crosses, and a Blueberry i grew. All other autos i tried take almost as long as a photo, or longer a couple times (i had a 108 day think different that was still 2 weeks min from finish plucked it anyways was crap). The autoflower weed is pretty potent, especially the afghani's and yields are equiv to same size photo plant if you train is well. I average 1.5-2+ OZ from a 20 inch tall auto plant.

4-6 sets of leaves sounds pretty good!
I basically popped all my freebies and my homemade seeds (Rocklock x OG Kush)

i've made a couple of SOG in a DR90,

-24 3L pot
-24 critical + dinafem

i've give them 10 (600w), 15 (400w) to 21 day ( 250w) of grow
,you can also only wait they are at least 10 cm tall,
after that i put them to 12/12 for 55 day
