Advice on Air Exchange in 4x4

I was really trying to figure out something that would be an easy solution. I mean if I can feel air going through my intake ducting does that mean the HEPA filter was restricting the airflow? With the hepa filter off, and the exhaust fan at speed 7 I still have my tent sucking in pretty decently..

Most folks open the passive intake vents around the bottom of the tent.

So are you saying all of these Need to be open? I'm just confused if they're open how do you reduce dirt, hair, lint, bugs, etc... With no filter being attached in the holes just being open? Also what do you think about the ducting converter with the 4-in side going into the HEPA filter and the 6-in side going straight into the tent without ducting?
Even when I do open all of these screened in Windows at the bottom of the tent my tent still sucks in quite a bit on speed seven.
I'm just trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong here. If the intake filter is my problem? I understand that there won't be any smell during veg, but during flower I can't have these vents/portholes open at the bottom. So I wanted to make sure my tent had good air circulation now so when flower comes I won't have a problem

Smell will be a problem.
Tents are never airtight.
A dedicated scrubber is you best defense.

Runs 24/7 scrubbing odor, and particulate. Mo money.

Okay still I'm not getting my question answered lol. I have a 6-in carbon filter to scrub the air in my tent. I'm not so much worried about scrubbing the air in the room that the tent is in. I have been told not to open any portholes or vents in the bottom of my tent besides the one I am using my intake on... The reasoning behind this is to reduce any mites, dirt, hair, spores that you might be bringing in from the outside.
I really am not interested in buying another inline fan to scrub the air in the room that the tent is in. I figured one scrubber that is 6 in and a 4x4 should be very sufficient?
My question is to get more airflow into my tent. Is it my HEPA filter? Obviously you can't answer that without being here. But that is my main problem that I'm trying to fix as of right now. I hooked up my AC Infiniti T6 to my carbon filter this morning. As my ducting was just at the top of my tent not connected to my carbon filter...
