No don't wait for the seed's to mature. The plants main goal on this earth was to get you "high".

that was sarcasm right?

Of course it was. :)

Why would any organism use more resource than it took for it's offspring to develop, you know? Not saying there isn't a specific time where the seeds are viable but flowers aren't "perfect" for consumption via inhalation - but you get my drift. :)

thanks alot guys but i have one other question, once the plant shows its sex to be a male how long does it take for the plant to make pollen because the females that i have are a bit older than the males

The males tend to develop pollen sacs much quicker than the females, so you should not have to wait long. If you're doing this just as a seed run, let them go as long as they can - until they die a natural death. That will insure you get the most, and most mature seeds possible. Big deal if you lose some bud; that's not what a seed run is for. But you will probably get a few THOUSAND seeds.

you are suppose to start budding ur females first so ur male can have something to polinate. males will do there thing b4 a female is ready to mate males will do there thing about 3 or 4 weeks into flower
