Standard is 12/12. Can alter a bit, but 16 hrs of dark is to much dark period and not enough light at 8 hrs

Only reason I've ever run close to that (15/9) is when I start my outdoor plants indoors. A 15/9 veg cycle before they go outside all but ensure that the plants won't start flowering right away, which prevents an entire reveg/reflower situation.

Otherwise, you want the plants to get as much light as possible.

I know what the norm is , yes. The fact is im experimenting because of limited space. Somebody also said you could not flower a clone right away. Well myth busted. At only 1.3 inches tall it is flowering with 4 straight white pistils.

Flowering clones is no myth lol
Its a fact :bigjoint:
But like I said I just cut it 1 week ago , skipped veg on it , straight to flower. Trying to see if I can get record smallest flowering plant. I topped the main cola dead center of plant. No gel , no chemicals just at a 45 degree angle right to soil.

Good luck ;)

Kudos on flowering from clone. It's an exciting adventure. I'm doing it now with two clones that I just sprayed with STS for reversal. I've also done from seed.

Particularly, when you clone off of a flowering plant, you can keep growing them as flowering plants as soon as they're rooted. Full nutrient regimen and everything. An ounce-to-two per plant directly from clone is pretty common.

Years ago, I did a perpetual where I went from clone to flower. Eight plants per batch, harvest every three weeks. All clones were put into 2L Coke bottles. Approximately eight ounces per 8-plant tray.
