Maybe a 1/4" below the top of the sponge. For me, it's better to germ it in a paper towel first so it doesn't fall thru your sponge. If you'll look in the AG booklet, it says to use a tiny drop of non-toxic glue to keep the seed in place if you germ in the AG. I didnt have any glue so I used the paper towel method.

jus chillin high as fuc haha, same ole shit, well the settings just run the pump, jus go tomatoes or salad greens
 
this is my set up.i got 4 100 watt daylight cfls. ill add more cfl's as i go along but for now this is good vor seedlings and beg veg.bongsmilie

anything wrong with this ?

yea counting the first two, haha it's confusing I allways get mixed up when Im counting my weeks for adding nutrients
 
oh damn, how long has it been, i never looked into superthrive, all i did was make lil squares out of a piece of paper towel for each seed, put it in a ziploc bag and put it in a dark cool place, they cracked in two days
