It hurts the plant because it needs the leaves for all kinds of reasons. I had a cat spray on the bottom of a plant once and had to cut off over 7-8 normal leaves. After I did this the plant did not branch out at all it basically grew strait up so I would be careful when doing that to autos.

I think I stressed my AKR but its a learning experience.

I heard that 20/4 is what should be used for optimal Auto output. That's what i am gonna try
