Why is it so hard for people to admit there can be risks involved while using marijuana?

I remember getting super stoned once in Santa Anna and had to drive back to Irvine. I swore I was going way too fast, but checking the speedometer, nope, 45MPH on the I-5. Good thing it was 3AM, not many people on the road to laugh at me.

Another time, at band camp, we all did hot knives, but the only thing we could find to roll into a tube was some downy drier sheets they used to keep the moths out of the cabins. Anyway, we all got high as shit and then when we woke up the next morning our faces smelled like the sweet smell of downy.

Those are my Close to death calls concerning MJ.

I know, since then I have stuck with more mundane activities like cross country running, expedition traveling across the USA and Canada in a Land Cruiser, piloting my airplane, farming, mechanical tinkering with fuel engines, the occasional hang gliding when in Monterey (rare), hunting and firearms collecting.

Farming, piloting, and long haul driving are probably all on the top 10 list of most dangerous jobs. I do a lot of fishing too, but not commercially; once put a hook half way through my thumb, pushed it all the way through and clipped off the barb, nothing like falling into the Bering sea though.

Edit: Harrekin, I saw that movie called "Bachelor Weekend" Supposedly filmed in and about Ireland. I noticed all the cars were German it seemed, Is that true? Lots of German cars in Ireland then? VW and BMW?
