even though im gonna post some pics because i said i would im not happy how this crop turned out. like i said before im still dialing in this strain after i recently started growing again. the plants were getting too much nutes plus i dont wanna be judged on a crop that i used dyna gro on at any point cause im noticing a big difference even at this point in the grow. i started a new crop on the 17th using the 2 part from day 1 and im confident ive finally dialed in this strain i just gotta make sure i never go above 300 ppm, not even for 1 day. i wasnt exaggerating at all before when saying this strain can barely handle any nutes. everything is going perfect with my new crop and there will be alot more pics of that when its finally done and that will be a much better representation of what i can do
don't trip bro,i would love to see some porn!i'll show ya mine if ya show me yours!;-) Here is my Master Kush x Skunk #1 day 50 i believe another week or 2 and off with her head.By the way these were grown with DG with a max of 500 ppm..View attachment 2144516

It's overall plant health I'm curious about. Yield is dependent on many things but plant health is on the grower. I look forward to the pictures.

I find many blueberries are so nute sensitive is rediculous.

Some strains just love getting the claw. i thought it was more from fan abuse to over-watering to strain dependent rather than resulting from nutes.

I have used both Dyna and Advanced nutrients along with several grows using other brands and over the years I always go right back to Fox Farm. It still blows Advanced away and is third the price.I found plants grow bigger stronger and produce more with Fox Farm. I like a combo of Fox Farm trio aka Grow Big Big Bloom Tiger Bloom. I use additives like silica,Humboldt cal mag and Humboldt Sea Mag. Then other micros I have dialed in are Fox Farm Cha Ching, Beastie Bloomz....I also add Gravity and Snow Storm from Humboldt..I do like to boost the carbs so I do recommend sweet or sweat leaf to help swell flowers.Heres some using that nute line up in a 4x4 tent 600 watt lumatek dimmable ballst at just over 5 week flower my own strain from cutting of the original mother used to create the original bubblegum strain..sorry for the couple blurs and flash white outs cell phone camers are finiky.....I run ph at 5.5 to 5.8 max..PPM in flower is from low 1200 to high of right at 2000 PPM. I flush 3 days when going from veg to flower then 4 days with sledgehammer at end of grow last 48 hours I keep lights off. I do 3 co2 injections a day in flower when lights on keeps the CO2 ppm in the 700 to 1500 ppm range each time. This is for smaller 4x4 tent table grows bit different for 4x8 tents or rooms .

thats why i said what i said. my plants health arent great because of too much nutes. im still dialing them in. it also didnt help having smaller plants than last crop because of the dyna and the plants were even more sensitive to the nutes because of this. i said that ahead of time cause i know theres gonna be people talkin shit

FilthyFletch what gave you better results dyna gro or a.n? your shit looks nice

izoc i was using a.n the whole time for years. i was just testing out dg cause everyone was raving about it but i didnt get nearly the same results

Ok, all I'm saying is post some pictures of your grows. While we're waiting for those photos, here are some pictures of my AK47 around day 60 with the only difference being the plant food (same environment, same feeding levels, same lighting, you get the idea) :

Dyna-Gro:

Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur:

all the proof you need to let you know AN is shit. used AN for a year, one of the biggest mistakes ive made, went organic right after. although homebrewers shit makes me wanna try dyna, too bad they wont send me samples :-(

On those 2 dyna was ok did the job but Id say Advance seemed to veg alot faster, slow flower but the buds were bit smaller yet lot more solid and dense. Used identical clones, tents bulbs and ballast side by side. The advance nutes though cost alot more. I used the 2 part regular with bud candy and nirvana then added silica, sea mag,cal mag, gravity and snowstorm. I think the AN gives a bit of a chemical burn taste though even with good flush and cure got some sparking from it. The dyna seemed"safe" if you will.No burning or lock out but I did feel it didnt maximize output and speed.Im stuck on FF now but I do have a want to try Emeril Triangle nutes and Canna nutes 2 I havent toyed with yet. I want to do a side by side aero grow with those and see what I get.

thats one of my biggest problems with AN, glad someone else notices it. especially the burns, salt buildup is horrible. its amazing they sell bud candy which is basically blackstrap molasses but 10 times the price pretty much. crazy how that company makes their business with all their false statistics, barely anyone questions them either. i feel sorry for all the new growers who may fall victim to their ways, you can drive yourself bankrupt with their nutes. just glad when i was using AN i got it for free(like 3 years ago, i had their nutes from right when they started, the 3 part micro grow bloom, and revive, i dont think they sell it anymore).

you saw alot of the same things i saw. vegetative growth is extremely slow with dyna plus the buds are more airy. i havent got any complaints about the taste though using advanced. i figured maybe i can at least save some money and use dyna gro grow on my moms but the plants were barely fuckin growin it was pathetic

I've been using AN for a long time and I don't have any of the problems you guys are talking about. Go talk to Hellraizer the Hydro MOD or check out the 24,000w Humbolt Grow and the 20,000w Collective grow. Both are in the Indoor section and all those guys use AN with excellent results. I've actually NEVER recommended AN to anyone and you can ask around so don't call me a salesmen. I'm just saying that I've seen guys in these forums complain about EVERY single nutrient company so I really think it's more the grower than the nutes. Plus when you take into account the potency of AN it's really not that much more expensive. Yes, if you buy ALL of their additives but you don't need to. You don't need all the additves from any nute company. I don't follow the labels on any nutrient brand I try out; I mix ratios to certain ppm levels. I found with the other nute companies I was using 50-75% more nutes to get the same ppm levels as I got using AN at roughly half the recommended strength on their bottles. Just my opinion.

Try foliage pro from dyna gro it will away any veg nutes I gaurantee it!! then when you flower go to the reg gro for the first 2-3 weeks (strain dependent). Then go to dyna bloom nutes.

Hey Tree, since I find that you only need to use about half of the recommended dosages to get the ppm I want I use half the dosage of the additives during veg and flower. Works out to about 4mL per gallon.

so i guess if you were me and running 300 ppm then you would probably run the additives at 1/4 strength instead? im trying to figure out if im adding too much of one additive because some of my plants are fox tailling like crazy. ive been using 2 ml a gal b-52, 4 ml a gal big bud/overdrive and 4 ml a gal bud candy. since my ppm is so low i figured too much of it could be additives. my room hasnt been hot either im not sure why this is happening

Phillip it is a user preference and strain thing that plays part in it. The manufacture ppm is a good start point but any good grower will adjust and dial in to what they need. Some love AN but just as many that post online have issues with it. For me the ppm is weak so I have to load up more to get where I like as my strains feed heavy.. I am familar with the grows you reference they came few years after site was up so saw many before also and the AN issue came up then too. They do stay at adjusted ph well though but after few dozen grows trying the line from AN out just wasnt for me. Like I said Fox Farm has always out done most nutes I have compared to and price is decent..Strange enough I had good results with Dutchmaster which many had bad luck with.Depends on growing methods 2 . I cant do soil to save my life really unless its Miracle grow moisture control. Now aero thats my thing I was probably the first full time aero grower on this site but for ease flood and drain is the easiest way to grow of all.
