AK-48 & master kush 400w HPS Grow

Hay looks very nice . you said no co2 . . and how's the smell . truthfully. i have been growing inside and out for years . and so far i have produced , one plant in 08 that was killer . and since about 50 that taste like shit. but its stoney lol . ill post pic's next post.
 
Honestly the smell ranges from plant to plant. My favorite is one of the master kush it has a very fruity, sweet smell but pretty strong. Most of the other master kush plants have a earthy smell. One of the Ak-48 well the only way I can explain it is that it reminds me a lil of peanut butter lol.. I noticed that with Nirvana seeds you get a very wide range of pheno's. I guess you can say they don't have very stable genetics.
 
Updated pics about 60 days flower. How much longer?? Anyone have any idea? Haven't checked the trichs yet.

Looks like a strong sativa hybrid, let it go 11+ weeks. I had a lemon kush that didnt fully ripen until about 11.5 wks, and its about a 60%/40% S/I

Wait until those hairs all turn dark red, and then they will sort of get thin and curly...almost receding back into the calyx. That is when you cut...try to get at least a 20x Scope to check the trichs...you'll want about 30-50% amber. Heavy indicas usually attain that around 9-10 weeks, Sativas 11-12, depending on genetics.

You're almost at 9 weeks...another 2 or so would be good.

Wow great thread man, I looked up Master Kush to see some grows because I'm growing Master Kush and AK 48 and what do you know, so are you. This is going to be my first grow and I knew I picked some good strains but after seeing this thread, god damn they look so good. thanks for the thread and great job!
 
just looked through your grow nice!...problems you had at the start were prob to much nutes, had the same prob myself last time out ended up with nutelock but you done the right thing with just plain water till they picked up. Your soil should have enough nutrients until you go into flower then start off on a 1/4 1/2 dose. i done ak48 on my last grow and it was done in 50-55 days. nice journal!
