Alaskan Ice, Orange Bud, and Power Skunk

what type of light are you using ? i have a 1000 set up and my clones are 2 weeks old . is that to much light?
:weed:

I am using a 600w with 6 inch cool tubes on both sides. How much area are you trying to light? That will help you decide if you have too much light or not, measure the space by the light.

Here is the set up if it helps. A/C unit outside that is timed and has a thermostat. and then light and carbon filter.

Well for some reason I have decided that I am growing all the Alaskan Ice but on in one Bubbleponics tub. Here are pictures. The ones in the back are Power Skunk and are going to be HUGE...Alaskan is a great smaller plant to grow I think. The Alaskans are eating like crazy I am 3 gallons a day for 6 gallon tub including keeping them nuted up. They really like nutes so I am going to add Humus starting next feed like I did last time. Supposedly makes a difference getting nutes to the roots so we shall see. I trashed 2 Orange Buds that I was growing from my seed stash. I needed the room and I am not dumping any Alaskan or Power so they had to hit the road. No biggie, have another 100 seeds for them it seems...Here are some pictures..Also, I will never start out a grow with any Sativa plant with and HID. They were 3 inches in 24 hours it seems. unreal growth

Man they smell so good, but outside that tent, cant smell anything. I am real glad I got the tent..should have gotten the 48x48 though...oh well, I will order one and use this one for Alaskan, Orange, and Skunk mommas

Power Skunk had to go today, one anyways, not the others, it was getting a little ballzie and I don't like ballzie!!

hey longhorn , first off let me say this....i'm an ou fan/// lmao

secondly , keep an eye out on those alaskan ice phenos. i had and am still having good luck with the darker of the two phenos. one comes out looking more white widow, thicker, shorter and helluva lot darker green in color. those are 3 weeks into flowering and looking tight! then , unfortunately i have a other pheno that is tall, lanky, and kinda mixed color on the fan leaves. kinda a light lime green color with darker green in the midle of the fans. very strange to look at for sure. now that pheno is sucking ass. i feel like im wasting my time and $. ( just like some of my choices in women.) ha hah ah a ha ha ha ...shes not doing anything! it's three weeks into flowering and no buds , but the darker phenos are taking off like champs man. mixed reports on alaskan and you were right to say they can take high ec levels. they do pretty good at that and havent seen burn or wilted leaves or jacked up leaves of any kind. i was sure to specificaly keep all the clones to the darker alaskan ice, the more widow looking momma.

your a.c for your 600 hps bro. how much those things running? $$ wise?

good luck with the grow. power skunk is a beast for sure man.

the funny thing is that the short pheno tastes more like haze and the tall lanky one tastes more like widow and has more resin just somethin to keep in mind. as ugly as the tall one is i like that smoke better

Yeah I noticed that about the Ice. Some are darker and some are light. All of the plants are in bud now and the Ice is starting to see a red hair here and there. I think I bought my A/C unit off of Ebay for $150 and hasnt let me down since the day I got it. That light is so cool (as in temp) because of that unit I can literally set it 3 to 4 inches about the plants. I am posting some pics right after this.

Oh...by the way, we kicked OU's ass and Missouri's ass but we got the shaft bowl cause of TT..thats cool thought not bitter...haha anyways here are some pics...The first one is an Alaskan Ice Picture, the tops leaves are folded over real bad because I had just changed nutes and I trimmed the root ball back and moved all 4 plants from that one Bubbleponics tub to their own bucket so she is pissed at me..PLus I gave her a little humus acid to get those damaged roots to take on more nutrients. This plant has buds all over it...Look at how big her leaves are compared to my fingers mid way through the plant..she is healthy and a very nice cola forming

Various pictures, the ones in the back are Power skunk and Orange cause they are so freaking tall. The Alaskan are all about "perfect" in my mind height. There are tons of buds on all of these plants already and they are eating now constantly....

they look great

definately looking good. keep water in them buckets. those alaskan soak up alot of damn water. i dont have a reverse osmosis unit installed yet and im paying for it cause im having to purchase my water , distilled water, from the store. if you go thru enough of those jugs ya know what i mean. just cheaper to buy a unit and install it for clean water. my tap water is at around 345 ppm. garbage!

i'm feeling a lil bit inspired to try out a room ac unit and run it up to my light. we'l see about this next payday though. keep up your good work longhorn.

Yeah they get watered added every afternoon also. I am amazed at how tall the Power Skunk has grown, the light is as high as it will go and they have almost reached the tent. Buds look great though. Not sure why it has happened on this grow, but I am not having any salt residues at all like I did last time. One thing I did do different this time was started using Humus immediately this time instead of waiting until flower. I am convinced the acid makes a huge difference. When I started doing research on Humus last grow I found alot of comments and research like this..They suggested iron found in Humic acids or their colloidal nature is responsible for the positive effect of micro organisms. Some believe that Humic acids entering the plant at early stages of development are a supplementary source of polyphenols, which function as respiratory catalysts, resulting in an increase in the living activity of the plant: enzyme systems are intensified, cell division is accelerated, root systems show greater development and, ultimately, the yield of dry matter increases. I think it helps and will continue to use it. I also have only burned a few leaves using my 600. Because they touched the glass. You can literally leave your hand under that light, right at the the top, and there is no heat. One of the Alaskan Ice girls, which I have never grown, have so many buds it is weird, I thought the plant was never going to have enough leaves to feed them. Oh well, will feed and water and post pics tomorrow night.

dont ask me why but i peeled off 2 of my alaskan calyx and man does it smell like a fruity , candy smell to it. they are at 4 weeks in bloom, 12-12 as of this morning. passed it around the room for others to smell and they were like "WTF? "
thats not a widow nor hazey smell....crazy man.....

checked it out with a microscope and all. id throw some pics but dammit, this cannon 7 megapixel cam doesnt do macro shots too well even though it has that feature...
