i grew up on a commercial salmon boat on the northern california coastline. i still live here and try to make it out to sea now and again. scares me now though. i've seen some amazing things out there.
man, that's pretty damn cool fdd.. i never had a clue about that, but then again, why would i, lol... i can't imagine growing up in an environment like that.. i can only imagine some of the kool stuff that you have seen and done on a boat as a young kid..
i am having a total brain fart right now, but will google it in a second.. ever seen this show where this couple has this big ass boat and go all over the world and fish.. the wife just had a second child.. anyways, i always think to myself what an awesome way that must be to live as a child. all of the cool things you get to see and always waking up in a different place.. amazing..

i love largemouth. i dont fish a whole lot anymore but on occasion i float the south branch potomac(fish, drink, float, smoke herb, get some sun). the north branch is right behind my house. dont get my largemouth fix as much but catch some nice smallmouth. a lot of people here hit up smokeholes for some awesome trout fishing but i have never been much of a trout fisherman, although my boys says its the shit.

i found it, lol.. offshore adventures.. its a pretty cool show .. not only do they do a lot of saltwater fishing, but they also do a lot of freediving as well.. the wife now has two kids who are ever present on the boat living life the way it should be...

Good show, they must have been dot com millionaires, all they did was travel around and fish. I envy 'em! LOL. Ever notice that the boat was "Go Fisch" I think, and it was out of Park City, Utah? Not much ocean around there.

Here's my only Humboldt squid picture, 1987, out of
San Luis Marina, just south of Santa Rosalia on the east coast of Baja. We used it for bait for grouper and yellowtail.

any 1 use the fish in your grows? i grow outside, so i dig a hole through in a blue gill or 2 then mix a little perlite in the soil, then i don't add any thing 4 10 to 14 days, i have had good succes with this.

I currently live down the road from Dale Hollow Lake in TN. Some MONSTER Smallies runnin around these parts. The current world record smallmouth was pulled out of this lake (11lbs 15oz) back in 1955, and they are predicting the next world record to come out of this lake. Not uncommon to catch an 8lb smalljaw  Heres a 21" at just around 5lbs i caught about a month ago on Float and Fly

No shit?! I just moved to the area a few months ago, so effin beautiful here! You have been very lucky to grow up around these parts. Ive never fished the cumberland yet, but I heard there some big ole stripers swimmin around in there. Ive only fished DHL since Ive been here, and its a tough lake to fish! Holler at me sometime if you wanna burn one and go rip some lips, we are always out there. You in KY or TN?
