Already???? Has to be too soon

anyone have good knowledge on diesels? i have a sour outside and shes only 5 weeks into flower but ive been lookin at her through the scope for a few days now and her trics are already about 80% milky. its seems way too soon. any opinions???
 
I've heard that trichs mature faster on the leaves than on the buds. You scoping the sugar leaves or the buds? On a related note, I've got a trainwreck diesel that looks like it pulled more diesel and it also looks (by trichs) to be finishing faster than I expected. Mines around 7 weeks though
 
im talking on the buds, im only seeing a few ambers on the sugar leaves. but now if im shooting for more of an up high, i want it mostly milky right?

I might be wrong, but I've always kind of thought this photo was bullshit. Isn't the high determined by whether the plant is indica or sativa? By that photo's logic, I could harvest a heavy indica when the trics are all mostly cloudy, and I would get a sativa-like high. Anyone have any comments on this?

Also, some photos would help us greatly, OP.
 
good question, im used to growing indicas and ind/sat hybrids. im not sure. my babies have always put me on my ass
 
My sour diesel has cloudy trichs and she's only 4 weeks in ...
If you think its too early it probably is

If she's still throwing off a lot of new pistils she's not done

Pics would be great, kinda hard to tell you without any

You can start flushing she looks 1- 2 weeks from chop Yours must have flowered early she looks good, I see what I have to look foward to now :)
 
yea she went nuts. when i got her she was 3 weeks from seed. i put her in the ground in mid may, she started flowering second week of august and here she is now. i think the weather may have made her flower early. we get all four seasons almost every week here in the bay
 
cant believe your sours r that far along. i would say that most sours in california have way more than 7-8 weeks left. atleast mine do.
 
diesels look done when they're not. I wouldn't even think about harvesting that plant for 3 weeks at least.

I hear you on that one, however I do notice that as the indica plant starts to mature from 3 weeks on in flowering, the buzz when sampled each week does change from body to cerebral IMO. This is always evident in my plants that I grow and also similar with Sativa as well ( in the fact that the THC/CBD effect changes week to week in flowering). That being said I'm not sure I would classify it exactly as that article does, being that they claim the buzz changes from an up type of high to a couch lock narcotic high, though IMO the buzz definitely increases as the plant matures however one wishes to assess it is to each there own.
 
thats what i thought, i was expecting no less than 9 weeks. i cant call it. this is a first for me. ive never had a plant go through flower this fast. ive asked alot of questions in here about this plant, shes had me trippin this whole time. i have 4 other babies, 2 chem-sis, a berry kush, and a romulan. theyre all just one week behind this one into flowering and i know they all still have at least 5 more weeks to go
