am i tripping, should there be spots right before harvest?

Are these spots normal right before harvest??

Im just about ready to harvest, maybe within a week or so. i came home from a long weekend and found spots like this. i checked the ph and it was a little high 6.5-6.7, i only have the dye type so its a guess. i had just added 5 gal fresh water to the resi before i left, the nutes were 1 week old at that point. i am going to change the water tonight and use only fresh water until i harvest. Any help?

No, it's not normal, but since it's so close to harvest, i wouldn't worry about it too much because there's not going to be much change in those few days.

Also, I agree that it would be a good idea to check for pests, because those spots are a little unusual looking, and don't really look like a deficiency. Hopefully that's not the case, but it would defintely be a good idea to check it out

just looked at a leaf under a 45x scope, i didnt see anything funny. nothing moving, it just looked like an area devoid of color.

those pistils need to receed more, I think... doesnt look quite done to me..

thanks all, i have waited a week since those photos, i have some male flowers coming in on a few of my buds. from what ive read, i should harvest now. i had been checking the trichs with a meiji lab microscope, at 45x. there were very few amber trichs. i have no experience to compare to so far. this is my first grow, from bagseed so im pretty happy just to have gotten this far.

at this point, you should CAREFULLY remove the male sacs (take the plant into another room, use a razor blade and dont rupture the sac) and continue to flower them for another week or more. they do not look like they are at the point where you should harvest early. I think you'll be disappointed with the product if you do.

The rust spots on the first pics look like a ca def. and I also do not think that they are ready. But if they are going hermie on you all bets are off ;)

Wait till all your hairs are 50 percent to 60 percent orange then you are ready all the way thru the plant not just the lowers. I also keep track of days but you also have to add 10- 14 days for the plant to show flowers first it seems to me.

i had this, i think it was a pest thing, some flys suck the life out of fan leafs. get some sticky traps. otherwise im curious to know what it is.

The plant is doing what it needs to in order for its line to continue, so no, I do not think it is 'bad' genetics per say. As it relates to what we want, that is a different story, and yes some strains to throw nanas a lot faster then other strains. Stressing the plants can cause them to go into 'survival' mode a lot quicker, and considering your deficiency (Ca), that may be the reason for the premature appearance of nanas.
Either way, I would probably not do a second run with a phenom that threw nanas that early (early as it relates to finishing up), stress or no stress. There is a lot of time invested to have it fucked up by early nanas.
If you have good access on all sides of the plants you can try to remove them CAREFULLY!!! in another area!!! Keep in mind that pollen can also pollonize your next cycle if you are not very carefully cleaning up after this run.
A couple of pics showing the whole plants would be good so we get a better idea how far they are along ;)
