Amazon grow lights, should they switch to only red for flowering?

I have two of those 1000w vannect Amazon lights on a white widow and blue dream photo.
I just switched to 12/12, but left the lights on full spectrum. Should I turn off the blue switch and just leave the red lights on or leave both switches on?

If you have a blurple keep both switches on all the time.

Yes, they are definitely blurple. Ok, that makes more sense. Why reduce the amount of light output by turning off half of the leds?
