not too sure about your questions, never tried the ambiens.... do you take them to actually sleep, or to get loaded?? Im an insomniac, but I like old school cns depressants, temazepam to be specific ;)

i remember my first experience with Ambien. My doctor wrote a script for Ambien to me before he switched me over to Xanex.

I'll never forget the parts of that night that I'm actually able to remember.

I remember it taking its time to desolve and take affect on me.. I was actually driving to a buddies house to smoke with him when it hit me. I immediately turned my truck around to go back home. Once it peaked.. and hit me hard.. my vision went blurry and it was at night too.. so the tail-lights and headlights from other vehicles.. had contrails behind them as the car moved.. plus if I didn't concentrate 100% on driving and focusing my eyes.. they would go cross on me. That made everything twice as bad.. because now I was seeing two of everything which made it very hard to distinguish the real object from its copy.. just really crazy night.

Needless to say, that was the last time I ever took an Ambien... and I dont plan on taking another one.

My Xanex works perfectly on me.. glad my doctor switched me back to the Xanex. ;)

anyhow, have a great weekend everyone. Have fun kids! But be safe..

peace..

Have a good friend who became "hooked" on ambien....was her favored buzz...the downside was she wrecked every vehicle in the family...hers several times, her husband several tiems, her sons several times.....as they are "well to do" the family just paid off damage she caused which simply enabled her to continue. Shes been in and out of rehab for pain meds and ambien for years........sooooooo, if ambien is your choice, be aware of potential costs.......

i've considered them, but I'm wary of new shit like that.... xanax and a few of the other benzos turn me into an evil zombie.... dont wanna take chances with a new one.

I've got a script for it. I've never gotten anything out of them besides sleep but when I take one I do it just before I lay down.

I dont really like xanax? What does it make you guys feel like? I remember taking it in class a few years ago, and after about 30 minutes I felt really high, but it wasn't good.. It was more annoying, I couldn't keep my vision straightand every time I moved my eyes, they would roll. If somebody was talking to me I would roll my eyes about every 5 seconds.. and not even on purpose.. And I was dizzy, and didn't want to talk, and felt sick.. I hate it lol, what is supposed to happen?

And ambien, I really wanna try it once.. I'm pretty sure a friend has some, might ask him for a couple, they are his moms though lol GET THIS. his mom is a stoner, and she is friends with a surgeon. She literally can get ANY pill she wants. Her surgeon friend doesn't do drugs or anything, but she is cool with spouting out scripts.. If thats even waht she does.. I dunno, I just know that she has gotten valium, ambien, prozac, and countless opiates for her 'medical conditions' Awesome right? :D

I had a friend who would snort them. He would wander around the house in a pill-induced stupor, then fall asleep in the most random places. (usually under the kitchen table). Then when he woke up, he had almost no recollection of what happened for the past 4 or 5 hours. It was sad but funny..... He's all better now though..
