Such eloquence cannot be disputed. Even before you employed the ignore feature to shield yourself from the searing logic of JohnnyO, you ignored my points on a regular basis. Petty insults, recrimination and misdirection are your methods of persuasion. Your quiver is depleting rapidly of even these ineffective arrows.

Once again, Meddie, your own words indict you. The struggle is over. Act like a man and confront the destiny you created with your destructive tactics. Or continue to deny like a petulant child the reality which has crashed around you.

Wow. VTXDave nailed it - the author of that opening paragraph is a very confused individual. I'd suggest a good read of Hayek - The Road to Serfdom and Rothbard's Man, Economy, and State. The first is a short 250 pages or so, the second a bit heftier at 1400+ pages. Then a sensible discussion about Libertarianism can take place.

Bush's political leanings are much more closely related to Fascism - in the politically scientific sense of the word (not just "some dude I don't like"). Here's a decent lecture that gives a brief but informative introduction to the idea.

Thanks for the book recommendations. Every leftist should be required to read Road to Serfdom before they are allowed to post here in the forum.

My copy is so highlighted and underlined in red ink it isn't even funny. Its one of the best anti-socialism books ever written.

Hell I don't know, I guess I get frustrated with your libertarian views. I am not the liberal lefty that I am portrayed as, but I am for people over Money, (excess money anyway). Those in power from either side of the aisle are not my friends. I just seek the best deal at the time, one that has a chance of becoming reality. I personally have nothing to gain if Barak becomes president. I see the world as being a better place for it. Maybe he can actually talk to our enemies, maybe he can actually turn this country around, or maybe he'll be assassinated by the neo-cons. I felt that R.P. (He finally terminated his candidacy) was not the right man for the job. Maybe Obama isn't either, But McSame will be the end game for this and a few other countries, can you say "Nucular" I like the Ideas you have in general, I abhor the fact that you side with people like JO and Vred. Those guys are off the charts of evilness. Anyone that posts Ann Cuntler has to be evil. But anyway, I have nothing personal against you and I apologise for the FU comments.
