i seem to remember reading something along those lines too
an eazy way to get polyploid and reg seeds.

As a hobby preservationist, this sounds like shit. BUT I guess it would make a cool clone to spread around. If there's any potency to them. I guess, if I wanted to sort of "trademark" a strain, make a dope triploid that nobody could breed with. Still sounds kinda shit. Unless someone makes a new Cookie Cutter Kush triploid, I think this is just a passing phase in the industry.
