Psychedelic research is uniquely unsuited to the usual double-blind study, since the drugs’ effect is very subjective. Once prohibition lifts, we will be able to do the research.

You make a very good point about an issue that is often forgotten. Parents that leave firearms accessible to children should be held accountable if the child causes harm with an unsecured firearm. We don't have any kids in the house. It's just the 2 of us. My Chihuahuas are great warning dogs but they can't pick up the gun and pull the trigger so no chance of accidental discharge. If I had children around there's no way I would have a firearm easily accessible. They would be locked up in a safe. As it is they get stashed whenever we leave for any significant amount of time so if we were to get burglarized they won't end up in the hands of criminals.

I was at this idiots house a couple weeks ago. They were drunk and had their guns out. The moron was fumbling with one of them and dropped it on the ground. It had a full clip and one in the chamber. I left immediately and I will probably never go there again. Idiots ruin everything.

It stands for -methamphetamine. You are correct in this regard. But the dash is the thing. It means there are structural qualifiers. They make for a distinct chemical entity.

Clinically, amphetamine and methamphetamine are significantly different.

Because “methamphetamine” = “meth” is a different entity from “______methamphetamine”. It’s an artifact of the currently-adopted nomenclature.

Thanks for that but I was asking @Fogdog.
I figure if they feel strong enough to call me “literally” stupid, they should be strong enough to accept my simple point. Not talking about effects of- or differentiation of amphetamine compounds just simply the literal abbreviation.
