Another LED or a 400 watt hps?

For that size tent, the only thing I would even consider is cob's. If your pulling 3-4oz with a mars hydro 300, you could be killing it. Go watch some videos by Growmau5 on youtube. I really wanna run some cobs but for my space its just a little too expensive and I went with 315w cmh which I absolutely love. Im thinking about putting 4 cree 3590's on the outside corners to add a little more light to my perimeter though.

I was thinking of 150 watt cob instead of led, do they produce alotta heat, want one in my 7x2 closet
mine dont put off much heat dude, and i can turn my fans off, and it only gets to 80-85.
4 cobs would be a very effective way to go.
So I should use the just the 1 Led light for my tent?
i use a 4 cob LED made by GoGreen. heres a link http://www.gogreenleds.com/store/p2/200W_4_COB_CXB3070_Grow_Light.html
and i am getting results like this in my 2x2.

Beautiful plants there man. I saw in one of your other posts thats RD Starkiller? Just started some 501st og myself, about a week in.

As you can see above, those cobs are fantastic.

You can also order these pre-wired kits that you just create your own mounting for. Easy to do, same thing (you can substitute for the 3070's if you want) and significantly cheaper. Ive been looking into some myself. Those gogreen's do look nice though, very clean.

ya,. actually i started off with the intent of building my own Cob, but i am not very hands on and have vvery little in the way of tools...so i just shopped around. The go greens are priced fair actually, i feel, because they come with top of the line hardware, and there is about 350 bucks adding up in hardware alone...and then hes got overhead, and labor, and material, etc....they go for just over $500. i know you could do it cheaper, but i feel he is fair.

Man, COBS are where its at though, i will NEVER use another "full spec" led. i knnow they do work. but i have just been spoiled with cobs for sure! They do compare as they claim...like my 200 watt 4 cob light i am using is to replace a 400 watt hps, and it really would REPLACE it....and you will get similar results, if not better, and the quality of the bud is phenomenal. Im sold. Main reason i got into them was because i was tired of battleing heat....and that is a thing of the past now! i have had countless crops that were heat affected, and it really hurts your yeild, and your quality. Heat is a motherfucker!
Good chatting dude...follow me if ya wanna follow along my current grow!
Oh, and your correct, it is RD's starkiller. I have some scotts og on deck. I LOVE RD man. best genetics i have seen in a long while. im gonna follow you to keep an eye on the 501st og....i almost got those....it was a toss up between them and the cornbread....in the end, i got starkiller/scotts....always next time! hahaha....thats the thing...they have too many tasty looking strains!
take care dude!

The guy is a memeber here as well, you can find him over in the led section if you have questions. Hes very helpful I talked to him for a bit about what would be good for my set up. He will also substitute different drivers or cobs for you if you want.
ya, i think he contacted me! totally cool that he did too...i am looking at one.

Right on man! Im trying to decide if I want to go with their 250w-300w (5-6) CREE or another 315w CMH which Im using now and I love it. I like that the 315 I can just daisy chain right in and will look nice and clean, but these cobs are so fucking cool... I have not seen a cob grow yet that isn't super frosty and dense looking... But, same with the 315's... Decisions!
